  A LITERAL treasure! any AND ALL gamers need to play this at least once in their life! I have always known about HL but only just got my first PC recently and of course i needed to play some HL! what a great game still to this day you can tell so much hard work was put into it by so many smart people! it almost feels like a open world game with the physics and some of the big open areas being explorable and all exploration is rewarding the devs really crammed ammo, heals, guns, and easter eggs in every crack and corner! WORTH PLAYING IN 2026! 27, 28, whenever! oh and for the price? really its a no brainer! <3

  Это просто игра.. я никогда особо не фанател от халфы, воспринимал её скорее как мем, но буквально на днях случайно прошёл первую и вторую часть, выполнил все достижения во всех эпизодах: запустил гнома в космос, растоптал всех личинок, нашёл все тайники с лямбдой и даже бросил банку в урну! - всё ради идеальной игры в стиме. И при этом мне было реально интересно этим заниматься. Мне так понравился сюжет, пусть он и прост, но драма и погружение выверены просто великолепно, каждую стачку, диалог и головоломку я воспринимал на свой счёт, казалось что всё происходит со мной, а сам Гордон Фримен - это лишь метафора состояния сознания, освобождение от прежних границ. Потом я зашёл в интернет, стал смотреть разные подкасты, интервью с разработчиками, записи спидранов, - всё это так круто, весь этот сеттинг, сообщество, люди, сама идеология valve, подход к работе, отсылки на литературу и философские идеи, - всё это натолкнуло меня на мысль, что half-life это не просто игрушка-шутер-стелялка, это настоящее классическое произведение нашего времени, которое отражает мысли и ощущения человека от современного мира и при этом понятна практически любому. Ведь, как говорил Виктор Антонов, "press F ему за всё..", - люди в биологической основе своей по прежнему больше похожи на племя, каждому из нас просто нужна заботливая стая и спокойное место под Солнцем, а вся эта бешено развивающаяся культура и технологии 21-го века, все эти тиктоки, соцсети, нейронки, новая социальная формация, которая присваивает себе ни капитал и ни средства производства, она присваивает наше время, наше внимание, нашу индивидуальность и личность, иссушая нас и превращая в бездушных сталкеров и комбайнов Альянса, все эти технологии врываются в нашу жизнь, уродуют всё то, что от всей души издавна творил и создавал человек. Культура, технологии и всё общество построенное с их помощью, - как отдельный организм, который паразитирует и не заботится о своих носителях: если потребуется - он выльет отходы в моря, если нужно - запретит размножаться. Человек стал как частичка сверх-организма, как муравейчик, как пчела, и даже сам Гордон Фримен, несмотря на своё имя, вынужден подчиниться воле высших сил. Глядя на эту мрачную метафору невольно вспоминаются слова великих стоиков: "Господи, дай мне спокойствие принять то, чего я не могу изменить; дай мне мужество изменить то, что изменить я в силах; и дай мне мудрость отличить одно от другого", - где же та грань за которой человек из свободного мыслящего существа превращается в ничтожную частичку парящую в нескончаемых турбулентных потоках жизни? Что же действительно самое лучшее, что способен сделать человек? Пускай на нашу волю и правда влияет кто-то, кто выше нас, пускай нам не объять умом аппетиты целых миров, но всё же человеку дано право на его маленькую жизнь, где бы он ни был, я верю что каждый способен найти способ обозначить свои границы и не дать даже самым могущественным существам посягнуть на них. Ведь чем сложнее сущность, тем она неповоротливей, а чем проще, тем ловчее и живучей. Да, half-life не заканчивается хеппи ендом где всех пришельцев прогнали.. Но всё же людям, ценой многих потерь удалось раздвинуть эти мощные тиски, показать зубы и доказать своё право на свободу, - это не так много, но и совсем не мало, это то что определяет сильный ты или слабый человек, и это то самое ради чего совсем не жалко потратить "пол жизни" Потому даже в мрачном мире half-life есть место хорошим людям, хорошим мечтам и хорошим делам, и нет наверное прекрасней мечты, чем потратить вторую "половину жизни" на то, чтобы на закате своих дней видеть как в доме твоём кипит жизнь, как множество сильных и красивых людей согретых у твоего огня, готовы дальше строить свой мир, пускай уже без тебя, и пускай ты не сделал ничего грандиозного, но зато ты знаешь что люди вокруг будут жить чуточку лучше благодаря тому немногому, что ты смог для них сделать.. Очень жалко Элая Вэнса конечно.. но зато у него осталась замечательная дочка Алекс, - такая прикольная девчёнка блин вообще.. и как компаньон она классная, редко когда таких умных товарищей делают в играх. Да и вообще, чего это я начал тут философствовать.. ведь это просто игра, с простеньким сюжетом, с невероятно крутой механической драмой, с улётными локациями, саунд дизайном и музыкой, офигенными механиками, физикой, стрельбой, управлением, атмосферой, с такими простыми и очаровательными персонажами.. о нет, боже нет.. ничего такого.. это просто игра.. просто игра..

  VALVE, где продолжение?! У меня ломка… Half-Life 2 и два эпизода это тот самый пример НАСТОЯЩЕЙ ИГРЫ. Это тот самый пример гениального системного увлекательного геймплея, пример разнообразности и увлекательности во всём, пример безумия идей и ситуаций, пример идеала игры для других разработчиков, на который стоит равняться и стоит тянуться, пример нестареющей, а даже очень вкусной со временем классики. БЛ@ТЬ эта игра вышедшая в 2004 и через Е@АНЫХ 22 года всё ещё охренительно играющаяся. С@КА, тут даже музло, сюжет, визуал, обучение механикам А@УИТЕЛЬНОЕ. И дополнения тоже годные, ПИ@ДЕЦ!! В процессе игры понял, что часть моментов и механик в других играх тупо повторение моментов и механик из Half-Life 2. ЭТО… БЫЛО… ПРОСТО… А@УЕННО !!! ИТОГО: КАЖДЫЙ игрок, кто считает себя таковым, ДОЛЖЕН пройти этот ШЕДЕВР!!! ЛЮБОЙ ЦЕНОЙ, но НЕ БЕСПЛАТНО!!!

  Не думаю что стоит расписывать что это за игра, и что она из себя представляет, это и так все знают. Отмечу что это отличное продолжение истории Гордона Фримена и событий первой части. Однозначно рекомендую, а если ещё игра по скидке, то почему бы и не взять, жвачка и то дороже будет стоить. Также отмечу если вы ищете Half-Life: Episode One и Half-Life: Episode Two , с недавних пор их совместили сразу в одну игру, и при покупке второй части они будут идти сразу внутри.

  Игра полностью заслуживает всех своих нагад. Это реально лучшая игра в мире, за все 38 часов мне ни разу не было скучно, а сюжет и лор тут на высшем уровне. Физика просто имба + загадки тут прикольные и не геморные, а достижения прикольные тоже. Короче полностью стоит своих денег. 10 дырявых страйдеров из 10

  I have beat this game a dozen times across different platforms. And I am surprised I have not written a review yet. So! Being that I'm about to start my 13th playthrough I can give my honest thoughts. The Experience: I got this game when it released on the xbox is where my journey began. My friend Jake heard about it and came over as well as a dozen others when I got it for my birthday (In June 2005) and thus began my first experience in Half Life. I beat the game, had no idea what happened since the story was lost on me but cut to November of 2008, I have a computer and internet and I just got Gears of War 2 for my Xbox 360. I download steam for the first time since my friend Vincent gave me a old Half life 1 CD with a disk code on it. I put the thing into my steam account and BOOM!!!! I got HL1 and a few other games including Counter Strike on my PC so I'm excited I get to play HL1!!! The same year I buy the Orange box for 360 and beat the game again along with it's episode 1 and 2 releases. Story: Okay guys first you show up in a train station and guy on TV is like (do the thing and you'll be fine dont worry we wont go extinct) and we walk some more, We meet Barney and he's like "beer bro!" then we see dr kleiner "use my teleporter!" Then we go get beat up, meet Alex she's pretty cool, then we mess up a teleporter and then a bunch of stuff happens. Cut to the end after shooting with like a dozen + guns and you missed breakfast and lunch to finally have dinner and realize this was your entire day, it's a pretty fun experience. Anyway no spoilers for a old game just play it. Anyone who knows is going to tell you the same thing. Gamplay: You shoot enemies that all take a different strategy and gun to take down at a pace where if you can kill them faster than they can kill you in groups then your doing well (I play on hard) So learning what guns bring down what enemies faster is important to learn as it was in HL1. You might get confused with the puzzles but again, Play any other game released now and it feels like your on training wheels the whole game, this does not baby you. Your a adult gamer! Also, 2-3 guns? what is this call of duty? no no no you get a arsenal. Use it like you did in Doom and to crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women. Sound?: What review are you listening/reading to? Spax3??? who gives a s**t about sound unless you heard the following "Minor lacerations detected." and the **power of throwing with the gravity gun** or that satisfying death sound of the combine units. Just play it the sound rocks. And put on the OST while you are driving, if you don't get a traffic ticket for speeding uhhh.. Don't do that when "Apprehension and Evasion" begins to play, I warned you. Conclusion: If you are still reading this and this game is on sale. What $5? or cheaper? your missing out on over 12 hours of gameplay that has been endlessly replicated over and over by Halo, By Red Dead, By Fallout and it all began here.
