  Absolutely unacceptable. Far Cry 3 is a legendary game, but this Steam version is a complete disaster. Crashes on startup, crashes on New Game, missing executables, broken launcher, permission errors, DX11 errors .I faced everything except actually playing the game. I spent HOURS fixing files, renaming executables, changing compatibility modes, fighting Windows permissions, reinstalling, verifying files, tweaking GPU settings… for nothing. This is not a game , it’s a technical nightmare. Ubisoft abandoned it, Steam still sells it, and players are left as unpaid beta testers in 2025. Selling this broken mess should be illegal. If you want nostalgia, buy it somewhere else. If you want frustration, buy it here. 0/10. Waste of time, money, and patience.

  Sadly the game is not optimised to play in 2026. I picked it up because I saw it's on sale with 75% discount and decided to replay this masterpiece and just ♥♥♥♥ around, but when I downloaded it all I got was a stuck loading screen. Ubisoft claims the game is fixed and optimised but after just one search I found multiple users facing the same issue and many fixes - none of them worked for me. Instead of playing the game all I got was endless troubleshooting and trying fixes. I then decided to just reinstall the game completely and after doing just that, I got yet another error message, this time from that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Ubisoft launcher, saying the game is outdated and needs an "important" update. However every time I tried to install said important update I got stuck in a loop with the ubisoft launcher claiming I had no internet connection and thus could not download the updates. Which was funny because I had a youtube guide about fixing Far Cry 3 running in the background, so you can imagine where the problem was - thats right in that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ idiotic ubisoft launcher nobody asked for. I originally had the game on a disk and I have it in my ubisoft library but I wanted to also own it on steam since it's my largest and most used library. So after trying to play the steam version for 2 hours and getting nowhere I decided to give the ubisoft one a go. As you could expect, that version didn't work as well. I then promptly gave up on life and went to sleep while cursing the ever loving ♥♥♥♥ out of ubisoft. In conclussion Far Cry 3 is a great game but not everyone will be able to play it on PC. ♥♥♥♥ Ubisoft Go pirate their games. They don't deserve anything. The definition of insanity was definitely applied here because I tried fixing it over and over again.

  The game keeps crashing constantly, and now I’m at the point where it crashes every time I try to proceed with the main story. Completely unplayable at this point. Thank you, Ubisoft.

  "Did I ever tell you the definition of insanity? Insanity... is logging into the correct Ubisoft Connect account... entering the correct password... over and over again... expecting Far Cry 3 to actually launch. That... is... crazy." I've owned this game for 2 days and have managed a grand total of 30 minutes of playtime because it crashes constantly. I've watched 9 different YouTube tutorials, verified the game files, restarted everything, and tried just about every fix people recommend. Nothing works. It's genuinely ridiculous that a game this old still has issues like this. I wanted to enjoy one of Ubisoft's best games, but instead I've spent more time troubleshooting Ubisoft Connect than actually playing Far Cry 3.

  К самому фар краю никаких претензий нет Геймплей имба, графа топ, звук норм, сюжет нравится, и всё вроде хорошо, сейчас проходится классно, несмотря на возраст игры... Так почему же я не советую этот замечательный, чуть ли не святой проект? Первый ответ: Существование Ubisoft launcher Безумие начинается ещё до захода в игру. Каждый раз при заходе она всегда превращается в симулятор введения пароля в лаунчере. Это бесит и очень отталкивает от прохождения вообще любой игры от юбисофт. Лаунчер, созданный для максимального удобства, вызывает только геморрой у пользователя. Второй ответ: Постоянные вылеты из-за Ubisoft launcher Игра всегда вылетает с периодичностью от 1 минуты до 1 часа. И вот это уже не только бесит, это делает игровой процесс ну просто невозможным. Сколько я не пытался эту проблему решить мне не помог ни один гайд в интернете. По итогу, все проблемы от говно лаунчера конторы даунов. Far cry 3 10/10, Ubisoft 0/10 самая худшая компания в мире. А деньги потрачены на ветер...

  Everybody already knows that this is the most immersive Far Cry with the best villain ever. But Ubisoft has abandoned it, or has even tried to kill it with a patch that makes the game crash every five minutes. So, instead of giving it a negative review for being unplayable, I’ll just go straight to the 100% working solution: https://github.com/ShonkV/Large-Address-Aware/releases/tag/V1.0 Download this application, open it, and select the Far Cry executable (FarCry.exe first (optional), and then FarCryDx11.exe for DX11), Check the box under LAA flag and Then simply click on save to make the game use more than 2 GB of RAM.

  Sad broken abandonware Better off buying a console to play it because it is as unstable as Ubisoft's stock price. Will constantly crash on you doing normal things like exploring, shooting, climbing, watching cutscenes. you shouldnt have to spend hours figuring how to make a game on Steam work properly after buying. It is Ubisoft's job to maintain their games not the community.

  игра мне конечно зашла, но юбисофт контора конченых пидорасав, со своим тупарылым лаунчерам, который мне просто не дает зайти игру, так как после запуска она сразу вылетает, появляется только один вопрос зачем делать такой убогий лаунчер если вы не способны делать нормально, надеюсь юбисофт когда нибудь закроют свой выблядский лаунчер и я смогу зайти в эту игру. пока что только так, юбисофт ДАЛБАЕБЫ

  Конченый Ubisoft - хотите поиграть нормально - скачайте пиратку. Почему Steam вообще продаёт этот кусок кала за деньги? Играть невозможно из-за встроенного лаунчера. Он не пустит тебя в игру если ты ошибёшься с паролем или логином, не даст создать новый аккаунт, а при попытке восстановить старый - заставит жать, и ожидание неизвестно сколько, но если раньше времени решил попытаться войти - то счетчик ожидания сбрасывается на 0 и не пускает тебя опять. Сколько ждать неизвестно, но при новой попытке опять ждёшь заново. Steam, пожалуйста, дайте в рот Ubisoft. Спустя пару суток я с лаунчером я-таки разобрался, однако в игре присутствуют вылеты, еще и в таких местах, где задание нужно выполнить за определенное время. Только что был очередной вылет и я закрыл игру. Дополню отзыв позже, если буду играть дальше. (дополняю - снёс, удалил всю серию из желаемого).

  Masterpiece ruined by Ubisoft Connect launcher. You have to log in each time you need to play this piece of sh*t. Ubisoft added achievements to Steam, very good, but why did you not make it a standalone Steam version without the Ubisoft trash launcher? **also no online is sad** Also, to optimize the experience with high FPS, you need to do this because FPS is f*cked in this game: -install "Large Address Aware" -then in Task Manager - details, then - set affinity and make the game run on 4 cores only.

  Какие же конченые ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ на Юбисофт. Онлайн игры засрали все и умудрились лучшую часть фар края тоже. Стабильные вылеты которые "фиксятся" сторонними прогами. Последней каплей стало мёртвое зависание на стадии загрузки этой игры. Да конечно, прекращайте поддержку игр на устройствах. Вам же важнее в конвеерном формате клепать игры, абы продать их и забыть. Долбоёбы ♥♥♥♥♥♥

  Всех приветствую на моем обзоре по игре Far cry 3! Сначала я купил эту игру гифтом. Поиграл, начались вылеты. Оформил возврат средств, решил, что ладно - куплю нормально напрямую со своего кошелька Steam, чтобы всё было по-человечески. Я искренне надеялся, что игра со временем обновится и патчи всё пофиксят, но чуда не произошло. Купил во второй раз за свои кровные. И что я получил в итоге? Эта ♥♥♥♥♥♥ просто намертво отказывается работать. По советам из интернета пытаешься снизить графику или переключиться на DirectX 9, чтобы этот кусок кода не жрал ресурсы и (так как игра выделяет себе только 2гб озу) не вылетал - в ответ игра полностью на ♥♥♥ ломается и начинает сыпать системными ошибками 0xc000007b. Это просто кал ♥♥♥♥♥♥, а не оптимизация. Вместо того чтобы играть в шедевр своего времени, я: Сижу как еблэн и переустанавливаю кучу системных библиотек C++ Пытаюсь реанимировать ♥♥♥♥♥♥ DirectX Ковыряюсь в файлах конфигурации "GamerProfile.xml" Запускаю скрипты через командную строку от админа Игра ♥♥♥♥♥ в плане технического состояния из-за этой вечной ошибки. Ubisoft, вы серьезно продаете этот нерабочий кал в Steam? Почему для обычного запуска я должен получать высшее техническое образование, чтобы ПРОСТО насладиться самой игрой? За что, в принципе, я вообще плачу? За самомазохизм? - ну спасибо блят! Худший экспириенс перепокупки игры в моей жизни. Сама игра - легенда, но её нынешнее техническое состояние в Steam и отношение разработчиков к оптимизации под современные ПК - это просто абсолютный позор. Ждал патчей -> Не рекомендую покупать эту недоделанную парашу, пока они полностью не починят лаунчер и библиотеки.

  Безумие - это точный ввод одного и того же пароля раз за разом в надежде... зайти в игру. Это... есть... безумие. Такими словами можно начать данный отзыв. Кроме постоянного ввода пароля есть и другие проблемы, например, очень частые вылеты, которые приходится самому каким-то образом исправлять (хотя это должны исправлять разработчики). Ну, а так, в целом, игра интересная, с необычным сюжетом. Но всю картину портят уже упомянутые Ubisoft Connect и постоянные вылеты

  The game itself is awesome it has an awesome story, setting and gameplay loop, nothing to complain about that, but I can't recommend this game when it crashes every single time it has to load something. You die? it crashes, want to fast travel? it crashes, is there a loading screen inside a mission? it crashes, you look at the game wrong? it crashes, you breathe? It crashes. I was able to get the game to a somewhat stable state by - Turning off every overlay (Steam, Ubisoft Connect, Nvidia) - Turning off Steams Video Recorder - Running the game in Windows 8 compatibility mode - Running the game as administrator - Reinstalling latest drivers Sometimes a pop up would come up on the screen saying that their servers were not able to authenticate the legitimacy of my game and it would force close the game, are you kidding me? To fix that I had to close Ubisoft Connect from the Task Manager, open it again and launch the game from the play button on Ubisoft Connect. But sometimes I would have to restart the whole PC to get it to work again If you are interested in playing this game just pirate the damn thing, play it on a different platform, or emulate it. Anything but this.

  I'd love to recommend FC3 to people. The game itself is fun. What isn't fun in the fact you are forced to run Ubisoft's launcher to access the game. A launcher that is full of bugs, requires you to log into their servers, and when their "service" is down you cannot play the game. 7/10 game 0/10 launcher

  Лаунчер свой сожгите в каловых массах. Почему, даже привязав свои учётки друг к другу, я буквально каждый раз должен вводить пароль при входе в игру? Почему в самом юбисофт-коннекте я авторизирован, но при входе в игру я всё ещё должен вводить пароль? Почему, нажимая «Играть оффлайн», когда он не может связаться с серверами, он не пускает в игру и продолжает биться лбом об стенку? Я уже молчу что игру надо вручную патчить на современных системах в противном случае она рандомно вылетает.
