  Эх, было время! Решил вернуться сюда спустя 8 лет... Это просто ах*енно...! Ах*енно пройти сюжетку с великолепными, незабываемыми миссиями. Ах*енно быть казненным в самом начале игры. Ах*енно опять побывать в Припяти и отстрелить руку Захаеву. Ах*енно пережить ядерный взрыв. Ах*енно пробежаться по забытым картам из мультиплеера, на которых все еще полно народу. Ах*енно снова почувствовать эту кривую, но приятную механику. Ах*енно качнуться до золотого калаша в мультиплеере. Ах*енно вновь вернуться в Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare!

  Patch your CODs before playing! Do not play any unpatched software, insecure servers and any peer-to-peer insecure hosting on any COD engine prior to the new remakes otherwise you WILL get compromised. I've been at least hacked once from it and luckly had to reformat (thank god it wasn't ransomware). Going into "Offline Mode" does not mean that you cannot connect to other servers, it only prevents Steam's visibility from interfacing and the buffer overflow bug that allows the RCE is associated with it. Microsoft Store doesn't suffer from it due to not having the bug. THIS GAME IS COMPROMISED! RCE (Remote Code Execution exploits) exist for this software. There is also a strong possibility that this vulnerability is shared with other Call of Duty titles that run on Infinity Ward's IDTech based engines prior to Black Ops. However those running on dedicated servers should be generally fine (Black Ops 1/remakes/COD4X) due to the ubiquity of hackers generally "ragehacking" to show status generally get banned by the anti-cheat or admin. Activision does not care and has no reason to care. The modifications at hand are at best, a last resort, unfortunately the fate of old FPS games. Best to serve a dedicated server with your own "wild west" justice these days. Explanations - Long Read Ahead! Basically this link explains the RCE from a trusted source: https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2018-20817 Basically data overflows create an opening for malicious actors to sneak code if you enter a lobby (custom, unprotected host migrations) that manipulates server downloads (packets) to execute malicious code executables/scripts. As much as I loved playing it at one point, look for anti-RCE patches on PCGAMINGWIKI. If a game doesn't have an ANTI-RCE patch, I do not recommend playing it until someone programs and releases one. [WINDOWS 10-11] It is critical that you patch Modern Warfare before playing online. Configuring your antivirus to protect your resident memory ("Isolation Protection") and other exploits should be enabled per profile for Modern Warfare.exe. Firewall rules should be correctly set such as not port forwarding and inbound connections set to block (and do not use public, use private connection). This will give a "just-in-case" protection. If you do enter a lobby unprotected, you have a moderate to high chance of having your system become compromised. Many videos show the RCE in effect on Youtube. From setting global speeds, aimbotting, significant manipulation of game mechanics to flat out crashing the game and slowhacking to full-on infecting peoples systems with malware [trojans/worms/viruses]. Black-hat hackers (hackers who purposely, maliciously access secure systems with intent to steal information and/or destroy data) can remotely access your system with TrustedInstaller privileges (access and change ANYTHING) which includes putting worms, trojans, keyloggers, malware and PUPs (Potentially Unwanted Programs like spyware/adware) - this can open your system to essentially any form of attack! So backup as well! This means you could lose your data (such as stuff you create/stream or record/save games), bank details can be siphoned from your keypresses which could result in a loss of financial integrity/lost accounts, your computer could be used as a botnet (to infect other systems which could add to the problem at hand) and worse of all, if especially egregious cases, can actually ruin your system physically with low-level ransomware which can affect your bootloader(s), rendering the system completely inoperative. Single Player Campaigns are OKAY to play unless Co-Op As long as you aren't connected to the internet via Peer to Peer (should have an offline mode or simply disable your ethernet and wifi adapter to be safe, you cannot be hacked if they cannot get an open physical port and/or wifi hotspot and thus your IP Addresses) you can play single-player campaigns with no fears. Games with always online DRM may pose a risk but generally, the hackers would need to hack the master servers to gain access. If there has been a leak, backup sync files (use PCGAMINGWIKI to find directories or the save files location) and make haste in changing passwords immediately - use confusing combinations and write them down! Even then, as long as you aren't joining insecure servers, keep in mind that co-op uses online peer-to-peer for host migration which could pose a risk so COD campaign co-op and COD:WAW:Zombies may still pose a penetration risk.

  В свое время, эта игра для меня была глотком свежего воздуха в линейке Call of Duty, пройдя первую и вторую части, на тему Великой Отечественной войны мы перешли в реальное время и игра действительно получилась на славу! Можно сказать, получился крутой боевик на тему борьбы с терроризмом! Много спецэффектов и экшена, на свое время, кинемотографичными сценами))) Очень классное ощущение было, когда вновь удалось побывать в Припяти, после прохождения Сталкера, это был большой сюрприз с ностальгией! :) И конечно, благодаря поддержке OS X, я наконец прошел эту часть CoD и это было незабываемо! Однозначно - ХИТ!!! Даже по прошествию стольких лет, эта игра очень хорошая!

  Вспоминаю я как в былые времена я сливал тонны денег на этот шедевр в компьютерных клубах. И когда появилась возможность поиграть дома по сети я просто был до слёз счаслив. В игре нет ничего лишнего графика просто потрясна. Управление будто говорит двигайся и стреляй 100% попадёшь OST слушабельны, нет ничего лучше купить её и играть с друзьями всем советую купить этот шедевр 2007 года как же мне снова хочется туды вернуться =) знаю что мало наиграл но это не мешает мне написать этот обзор и сказать на сколько это игра идеальна. Всем поклоникам Call Of Duty 4 Modern Warfare советую Оценка Леонтика-11/10

  Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare was developed by Infinity Ward and released in 2007. For the first time, Infinity Ward abandons World War II, in favor of a far more original modern conflict. The player essentially embodies two special forces soldiers, Sergeants "Soap" MacTavish of the S.A.S. and Paul Jackson of the U.S. Marines. Their mission is to find and eliminate two vital targets: Imran Zakhaev, the head of a Russian ultranationalist party, Khaled Al-Asad, the leader of an Arab terrorist group, to prevent the outbreak of World War III. You'll be joined by the charismatic Captain Price and Gaz, plus other brothers-in-arms, mostly American, British and Russian. The campaign is short but intense, offering a variety of missions. The staging is impressive, as spectacular as an American blockbuster. The atmosphere is highly immersive and at times chilling, given the appalling violence of the events. There's no room for improvisation, with the game's omnipresent scripted moments to great effect. The game has vehicle shooting sequences, including Jeep, AC-130 and Helicopter, but also sniper support fire, tank and helicopter demolition, and even stealth moments, as in the despicable Ukrainian town of Pripyat, also featured in STALKER Shadow Of Chernobyl, released the same year. Levels feature assaults on enemy positions in the cold, gloomy forests of Eastern Europe, as well as urban guerrilla warfare in dusty Middle Eastern cities. Gunfights are frenetic, and the "Veteran" difficulty adds a touch of realism and brutality to the game. As do the quotes from great political and military figures, adding credibility to the whole. The AI is decent, but seems a little behind Call Of Duty 2. That said, the enemies aim well and don't hesitate to unleash attack dogs to do us harm. The soundtrack, by Stephen Barton, is of the highest quality, sometimes orchestral in important moments, sometimes Rock in the fiercest battles. A wide choice of weapons is offered to players, and recoil is fairly easy to master. Forget World War II weapons, the arsenal is (slightly) more modern. You can choose from a wide range of weapons, including: MP5, G3, AK-47, M4A1, Uzi, M249, G36C, RPG-7, Dragunov, M16, RPD... Weapons are available in several variants, with sights, scopes, silencers and even grenade launchers! You can be equipped with night vision goggles, claymores, frag, flash or smoke grenades. For the first time in the series, it's finally possible to run, which adds dynamism to the gameplay. It's also possible to throw back enemy grenades, which sounds like a blessing when you're familiar with the previous games. The game does have a few shortcomings, however: Enemies spam grenades, as in Call Of Duty 2. Many sequences are timed and unnecessarily stressful, The maps are very linear, giving no freedom of action, Graphics have changed little since the previous game in 2005. But that's not nothing, as COD4 is generally of a high quality. A modern era, a new atmosphere, an original narrative and other enemies... There's no doubt that Call Of Duty 4 is a radical departure from its predecessors, but with results that live up to expectations. This spectacular episode takes the series into a new dimension, and should be ranked among the classics of war FPS.

  Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare – шутер от первого лица, который был разработан командной Infinity Ward, основателями серии Call of Duty. На этот раз игра переносит нас в наше время, которое ничем не лучше чем было во времена Второй мировой. Имран Захаев – российский ультранационалист, планирующий захватит власть над Россией, ему в этом помогают союзники в лице Халед аль-Асада, который создает переворот на Ближнем Востоке, тем самым отвлекая взгляд всех от действий, происходящих в самой России. На противостояния с ними были отправлены Американские и Британские войска, цель которых – ликвидировать террористов и положить конец этой современной войне. За первых, под наше управление попадает Джон «Соуп» Мактавиш, новобранец Американской армии, за вторых, сержант Пол Джексон. Но смогут ли они не подвести своих людей? Не струсят ли в самый ответственный момент? Только вам решать, какими солдатами они станут. Modern Warfare это первая игра серии, события которой происходят не во времена Второй мировой войны, а в нашем. Но это все тот же CoD, который стал немного более динамичным, где больше стали уделять сюжету, кинематографичности, в котором все также присутствует капитан Прайс. Но эта игра ценится не только своей одиночкой компанией, многие часы игроки провели в сетевом режиме, сражаясь друг против друга. И это было, чер.товски весело… Хотелось бы добавить, что в игре отсутствует поддержка русской локализации, но решение данной проблемы вы сможете найти в руководствах к ней. Маус одобряет! =)

  Многие говорят "Кодзима гений", а я скажу "Зампелла гений". Не каждый разработчик сможет создать игру, которая будет играться свежо в любое время и в которой многие механики сделаны на столько хорошо, что менять ничего не нужно, потому что они прекрасно работают. Единственное что в этой игре устарело - мувмент. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare останется одной из легендарных игр. То, что она в своё время сделала с жанром шутеров и с игровой индустрией вообще не передать словами.

  Experienced on the Meta Quest 3 You can view my VR mod gameplay here: https://youtu.be/_zb1bxii1Mw Yes, you can now play Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare in VR with the latest VR mod that includes stereoscopic rendering, 6DoF headset tracking, motion-controller weapon aiming, physical scope support, VR HUD placement, and campaign-specific compatibility fixes (most weapons have manual reloads too). Yeah, you can now aim your weapon in VR and the sights are perfect in VR (except for the sniper scopes). You can play comfortably seated as well (full locomotion with snap turning). On my RTX 5090, I was getting mostly 90 fps with only some minor frame rate drops. I tested mods with several weapons and they all mostly worked (except Sniper). Game looks gorgeous in VR. It's so much more immersive and fun to play in VR. It's the definitely way the game should be played. Play it in any other way and it is the inferior way. Playing this 2007 game in VR just shows that VR is the present and future of gaming. So you either buy yourself a nice PC and a VR headset and enjoy the VR modding scene, or you will be left behind enjoying inferior experiences. I bought this game!   Считать какая это уже по счету игра в главной аттракционовой серии игр на планете – дело сугубо неблагодарное, так как ясно что не вторая и даже не третья (кроме шуток – четвертая, без учета спин – оффов). Очередной релиз очередной Call Of Duty это как Новый Год, День Рождения и повышение тарифов на коммунальные услуги – ежегодная неизбежность. Посмотрим что же это за «Зов Долга» такой? Видимо люди, ответственные за серию Call Of Duty поняли что пейзажи Второй Мировой Войны уже порядком поднадоели взыскательным геймерам, и на смену М1 Гаранд и BAR нам в руки выдают вполне себе современные G36 и .50 Barret. Меняются и декорации – вместо пляжа Омаха нас выпускают порезвиться на вполне себе современные улицы охваченных войной городов и в ракетные комплексы базирования МБР. К этим самым МБР питает нездоровую страсть некий Имран Закаев – русский националист, мечтающий захватить власть в России и присоединить к ней соседние страны, путем аннексии конечно. Понимая что такой план явно вызовет непонимание на Западе, он организовывает переворот где – то на Ближнем Востоке, с целью переключить внимание с себя на тамошнего кукловода. Вот только бравые американские парни не лыком шиты, хитрость раскусили, и решили что разгребут обе ситуации почти параллельно. Получится ли? «ЗА» - Эпичность игры возведена на новый уровень. Мы побываем на судне в шторм, в центре запуска МБР, в охваченном войной городском квартале, и даже в Припяти. - Припять я вынесу в отдельный плюс. Это просто очень красивый и душевно сделанный уровень, в пух и прах уделывающий своего собрата из вроде бы «профильного» S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Низкие системные требования. Графика при этом смотрится просто, но аккуратно. - В целом хорошая и интересная концепция городских боев. В сочетании со сложностью игры на высших уровнях (пусть и заключается она в том что мы просто быстрее умираем, на ИИ это не влияет) это заставляет пройти игру, не особо теряя интерес. - Разнообразие уровней. «ПРОТИВ» - Идиотский сюжет, Основной мотив пьесы абсурда – главный патриот России – чеченец (!). Если это не аллюзия на товарища Кадырова, то я даже не знаю… - Туповатые противники. И в целом заскриптованность игры выходит за рамки приличий. - Прием из дешевых игр – бесконечный респаун. Как это низко. Резюме В принципе можно сделать шаблон на обзоры игр серии Call Of Duty, меняя от раза к разу лишь имена героев и упоминая очередную «фишку», введенную чтобы новая часть хоть чем – то отличалась от старой. Глобально же ничего не меняется, и Modern Warfare – не исключение. Изменившиеся декорации, похорошевшая графика и яркая пальба соседствуют тут со штампами про злодеев и в целом предсказуемым сюжетом, хоть и не без сюрпризов (атомная бомба, конечно же!). Конкретно в случае этой игры можно отметить удачный сеттинг, откровенно душевные ВАУ – эффекты и конечно же Припять. Рецепт употребления продукта? Пожалуйста. Выключить мозги, сделать в микроволновке попкорн, налить стакан колы, вставить трубочку, запустить игру. Поехали!

  Игровые сомелье могут долго смаковать плоды урожайного 2007 года.Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, BioShock, The Witcher, Crysis … и это только поверхностный список релизов года, в который никто и никогда не вернется. Не обошел стороной этот год и релиз новой части Call of Duty, пусть предыдущая и обделила ПК бояр, посетив лишь консоли седьмого поколения. Подзаголовок Modern Warfare не только ознаменовал смену курса в сеттинге, но и породил целую подсерию, которую благодаря ремастерам и мягким перезапускам не перестают эксплуатировать до сих пор. Более не сдерживаясь рамками Второй Мировой Войны, Infinity Ward придумала новый вооруженный конфликт, который очень легко было бы понять западному игроку. Сюжет построен вокруг вымышленного кризиса, спровоцированного ультранационалистическим движением в России и свергнутого режима на Ближнем Востоке. Череда миссий в этот раз – это не просто набор сражений с конечной точкой, а постепенно развивающаяся история в которых игрок управляет одним из двух персонажей: британским оперативником SAS с дурацким именем и американским морпехом Полом Джексоном. Являясь окном игрока в этот мир, буквально камерой с оружием, их характеры не получили должного развития, зато постарались над другими персонажами в кадре, в частности харизматичный антагонист и его величество капитан Прайс. CoD 4 подарила множество запоминающихся миссий и событий, думаю все помнят Припять, последнюю главу в кампании Джексона, штурм конспиративной квартиры, запуск МБР. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3465642114 Кардинальная смена сеттинга не могла не повлиять на игровой процесс. Сменился и темп боя, и используемое вооружение, дополненное набором гаджетов. Основа, конечно же, не тронута - перестрелки и линейное прохождение уровней с четко расставленными скриптами, но здесь какой-то почти кинематографический баланс между зрелищностью и интерактивностью. Особенно стоит отметить многообразие миссий: от ночных вторжений с использованием ПНВ до масштабных атак с участием бронетехники и авиации. Уже привычные элементы взаимодействия с техникой были ограничены, управлять в этот раз ничем не предлагают, но есть яркий эпизод с ведением огня из AC-130. Критичный момент для шутера – стрельба и взаимодействие с оружием. Каждая пуля, отдача, импакт, анимация смертей и ранений, звук попадания по броне или телу – все это приятно ощущается. ИИ не отличается большой сообразительностью, но метко стреляет, не стесняется использовать гранаты, которые теперь можно отбрасывать обратно, пользуется численным превосходством и меняет позиции. Про многопользовательский режим и говорить нечего, уверен многие заставшие релиз проводили в нем время на официальных или пиратских серверах. Я не могу сказать, что с визуальной точки зрения Modern Warfare хорошо сохранилась, да и она отстает от других релизов 2007 года. Дизайн уровней достоин похвалы, локации вышли действительно атмосферными, но несмотря на геймплейное разнообразие, использованная цветовая палитра однообразная и утомляющая. Определенно хороший набор звуковых эффектов и приятная озвучка с уже легендарными фразами, а вот саундтрек иногда страдает от проблем со сведением. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3465642145 Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare можно вспоминать с теплотой, а можно ругать за шаблонность. Но влияние этой части на всю серию отрицать не получится. Как минимум, Activision поняла эффективность смены сеттинга, тенденцию на запоминающихся героев и злодеев. При этом зрелищность, постановка и ощущение у игрока, что он является центром событий, с лихвой может компенсировать любые недостатки. Видимо, они посчитали, что наконец сделали эталон, на который нужно равняться и им и конкурентам.

  Отличный боевик. Красочные герои и безумный злодей в виде чеченского националиста Имрана Закаева делают отличную игру еще интереснее. Минус то что автомат АК плохо сделан, он слаб и не очень красив, это на мой взгляд делает игру хуже, я очень люблю АК а тут приходилось воевать поганым оружием. Причем в следующих частях АК является лучшим! Не смотря на это рекомендую всем!!!
