Borderlands 3 is a lot better when you don't have people in your ear saying it's bad all the time. There's definitely points where the writing has taken a dive, for sure, but I don't think it's anywhere near as bad as people make it out to be all the time. My biggest gripes personally are the crew challenges tend to be the same thing over and over again, it would have been amazing to have a new vault hunter playable rather than one new tree per base VH, because, personally, there's nothing in those trees that are really worth using, buildwise, but like I said that's my personal opinion; Arms Race is a neat idea but becomes kind of shallow very rapidly once you've played it a few times; Ava was done dirty by both the community and the cutting room floor for scrapping cutscenes and character moments where her grief and decisions make more sense. All in all though, gameplay wise, it is exactly what I wanted when I was waiting for a potential BL3 following Pre-Sequel, and it delivered in spades, just like how Borderlands 4 looks like it will deliver exactly what I would like from a follow up to this, with even more spades. 8/10 game with the base content, but if you get it with all the expansions, you will have a blast. There's times where it dethrones Borderlands 2 for me, but not quite close to Pre-Sequel.

How 2 enjoy. 1. Install BL SDK 2. Install Dialog Skipper mod 3. Install Cutscene Disabler mod 4. Don't forget to enable them in game Your brain WILL thank you, because listening this absolute moronic yapfest they call dialogue will murder your brain clusters faster than impeding dementia. I believe someone or everyone in the writing "team" willfully studied the effects of psy ops in order to moronize anyone that decides to play thru this pathetic excuse of "storytelling" to their intellectual level or lower. Other than that, with mods I've listed, the game is actually playable and enjoyable. Although the amount of particle effects is way too much sometimes.

Игра отличная, негативный отзыв оставляю только из-за лицензионного соглашения: Take-Two и 2K games обновили лицензионные соглашения на все свои игры, включая бордерлендс, биошок, мафию, цивилизацию, икс ком и другие. Важная информация в Условиях обслуживания: • О вас собирается вся инфа, включая персональные данные (имя, адрес, телефонные номера, транзакции, используемое на пк по и прочие прелести, включая порно, которое вы смотрите), после чего сливается потенциальным рекламодателям • За моды бан • За читы и эксплойты бан • За впн бан • За виртуальную машину бан • В играх могут показывать рекламные ролики, будто это бесплатная мобильная доилка • Вы на автомате отказываетесь от подачи иска в суд при запуске их игр • И последнее: они оставляют за собой право изменять это Соглашение полностью или частично в любое время

The combat is great, but the story is so cringe you can't play the game properly, or so i thought. After revisiting it a few years later, it's alright, just block the story out of your mind and the game is.. fun, i guess? Longtime borderlands fan here btw.

You're reeeeeally exhausting with the in-game ads about BL4. 2 different ads this week, full-screen, unskippable, which you're forced to see and interact with (you have to press a key in order to close it), and even then, you'll have to see it forever on the bottom left corner in the main and pause menus and there's no freaking way to get rid of it unless the company creates another update to delete it. This same thing happened with "Tales from the Borderlands" and "Tiny Tina's", and they'll keep the ad in there until they release BL5 or some other remotely related stuff. i'm so fed up with this. I paid for my game a good amount. I don't have to see ads on it.

There's probably a good game here if you're willing to stare blankly at the screen every time the game goes into an UNSKIPPABLE, several minutes-long dialogue dump.

I have never, not once, in my entire life played a game that felt more like the condensed, distilled and bottled essence of the exact kind of cringe that every single Marvel movie has been after Endgame. The forced jokes, the blatant destruction of the characters from previous games that borderline infantilizes them on top of the sheer LACK of respect for using anything other than 50 jokes per minute to shock value to try to keep you hooked proves that everyone involved in the production of this game's storyline is either a poor writer, or too lazy to care. TL;DR This game was so cringe that the only time I didn't feel like dragging my balls across broken glass was when people finally just SHUT the ♥♥♥♥ UP, OH MY GOD
