One of my biggest issues is that the game still relies on peer-to-peer networking. Apparently the recently reported RCE vulnerability has been patched, which is obviously a good thing, but P2P multiplayer will always carry additional security and networking risks compared to dedicated servers. It also means connection quality and performance can heavily favor the host, making matches inconsistent for everyone else. The lack of meaningful anti-cheat does not help either. You can reportedly attach tools like Cheat Engine without the game even kicking you. Matchmaking is also extremely buggy. Teams regularly fail to balance properly, bots are not added correctly, and lobbies sometimes do not fill as expected despite the game having a large player count. On top of that, content and features keep disappearing: * Maps have been removed with no clear plan for when they will return. I understand removing maps temporarily to rework them, but why not leave the existing versions playable until the replacements are actually ready? * Zombies mode was removed. * There is still no proper 5v5 competitive Versus mode. * Character customization was removed. * There is no real punishment for teamkilling besides deducting kills from your score. * There is no vote-kick system. * Spawns in basically every mode besides Versus are terrible. * Even in Versus, the spawns do not flip properly after each round. The game keeps losing features while basic multiplayer systems still feel unfinished. Between broken matchmaking, missing content, poor spawn logic, weak teamkilling protections, no vote kick, questionable anti-cheat, and the inherent drawbacks of P2P networking, I cannot recommend playing it in its current state. The reported RCE being patched is a positive step, but it does not erase the underlying issues. The game still needs major work in networking, matchmaking, moderation, anti-cheat, spawns, and restoring or replacing removed content before I could recommend it.

Bodycam First Impressions When I first saw Bodycam, sometime around the middle of 2023, I was amazed that a game like this was actually being made. I didn't think it was a real game at all. For the most part, I thought it was fake. I was interested in the game and kept checking everything related to it, but after some time, I simply forgot about it. It didn't stay in my memory enough for me to buy it on the day it was released, June 8, 2024. I simply missed it and, for some reason, didn't really follow the game anymore. But this year, the major update came out, and I decided to buy the game. And I have to say that I can understand the hype around it to some extent, but for me, something is missing for the game to actually deliver what it is supposed to convey. Sure, it's cool that we have an actual bodycam perspective. The characters behave naturally, the weapons feel good, and the sound design works well. Everything is generally okay. It's just not what I personally expected this game to be. So, my first impression after buying the game and putting a pretty huge amount of hours into it is that, for me, it's just another ordinary FPS, except that here we have more realistic weapon handling, body physics, and character behavior. And that's basically it. There's nothing particularly extraordinary about it. Gameplay When it comes to the gameplay, it is different from typical FPS games such as Call of Duty, Battlefield, Rainbow Six Siege, and so on, just like I mentioned earlier in my first impressions. The weapons are realistically recreated. We have quite a few reload animations depending on the situation we're in. If we're standing still and reloading calmly, the reload goes normally. But after shooting, for example, our character is more affected by stress and might fail to insert the magazine properly, meaning they have to try again. Obviously, it's a nice addition. It's not something that bothers me or anything like that. It's just a cool little visual detail. Does it actually change the gameplay? To some extent, yes, because calmly reloading your weapon is simply faster than reloading after shooting or after killing another player. So, that's pretty cool. As for the game modes, we have a ranked 2v2 mode with a bomb-planting objective, something similar to the Counter-Strike Wingman mode. We also have casual modes, such as Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, Versus, and Gun Game. There also used to be a Zombie mode, but it has been removed for now. When it comes to the gunplay itself, I think it feels pretty good. The weapon customization is also very extensive and varied, so you can really experiment and build your own dream weapon. One thing that really annoys me, though, is the lack of dedicated servers. Because of this, the servers work on a peer-to-peer basis. One player hosts a public server and everyone else joins them. Because of that, there can be problems with joining servers and with ping. The game can sometimes feel like it's freezing or lagging simply because someone might be on the other side of the world, and the connection isn't as stable as it should be. You also can't see what your ping is on the server, so there's no real way to check or monitor your connection. This is a major issue because, unfortunately, even though the gameplay itself is supposed to be smooth and enjoyable, some player-hosted servers simply don't allow that. Sometimes the gameplay can feel really clunky because of the server connection. Graphics and Audio When it comes to the graphics in Bodycam, I have to admit that they are really impressive. The game is made in Unreal Engine 5 with an incredible level of detail, especially when it comes to the textures and the overall visual presentation. The graphics are extremely photorealistic, so you could say that, to some extent, the game is showing what can be achieved with photorealistic graphics on this engine. That's a huge plus. The game simply looks very good. When it comes to the audio, it's solid. The weapon sounds are very well recreated, and I don't really have anything to complain about here, except for one thing. When someone is shooting from a distance, especially when the fight is happening inside a building, it can sometimes be difficult to figure out exactly where the sound is coming from. I've had many situations where someone was shooting and I couldn't tell whether they were on the same floor as me or somewhere above me. That's the only thing that really irritated me. But overall, visually, this is the best-looking FPS I've had the opportunity to play, and I really like how the game looks. Final Thoughts To sum up Bodycam, personally, I don't think it has met my expectations when it comes to an FPS game. It's an interesting concept, but for me personally, it's not what I expected it to be. Of course, this is only my opinion, so someone else might really enjoy the game. Nevertheless, I will continue playing it and watching how it develops. Maybe over time, my opinion will change and this review will become more positive. But as of right now, I wouldn't recommend the game. Even though the game is decent in many ways, it also lacks replayability. There isn't really that much to do in the game. Sometimes it feels like it needs more variety. I would like to see more content, more game modes, and a more developed ranked mode rather than just 2v2. It would be great to have 5v5 ranked matches as well. I think the game needs to focus more on variety and giving players more reasons to keep coming back. Because, honestly, there isn't that much to do. You join the game, play the same modes, and that's pretty much it. So, as of today, I would give Bodycam a 6 out of 10.

awesomely executed and somewhat unique concept. great dev team, passionate guys. problem -- the gameplay dies out rather quickly. not worth the money just to experience immersive deathmatches with a lot of motion sickness for some. i'd wait for some deeper plot or better missions, more modes/objectives IF these are to come, otherwise --- skip.

The game is pretty fun I really enjoy the realistic sound design of the game and the ambient environment with the feeling of impending doom. I'll start with some pros and cons, then I will then talk about glitches/bugs in the game that I have experienced up to September 23 2026. Pro's: - It feels super realistic and the characters have weight to them which makes then feel almost human. - Great map designs (The maps are very rugged and... slightly scary) - New game modes have really grown and it is great to see a game I like to continue to improve and build more into the game. Con's: - The game does get repetitive (not as bad as Arc Raiders though) - Its still a work in progress and some game modes are not available for a little while which is not amazing. (Zombies). - The AI bots are not the best and can definitely be made much harder to take out. Glitches/ Bugs (Could totally be wrong on these): - Sometimes in a live game with bots, they will track your position through a way before they can see you and fire as soon as there is no obstacle. I found this when in the corner of doorways, behind the doors on the hospital map (See through doors). The issue is that it gives away your position and sometimes auto kills you before you can react. (I could just be bad at the game.) - In the competitive game mode 2v2, it sometimes will spawn either more players for a full team or is spawning enemy players directly next to the pair of players on the other team. This then leads to the problem of players spawning in and killing the duo team or the duo team killing the newly spawned in players. I think another issue is that it is not locking new players out of the match after 4 players have been selected. (I could totally be wrong on this to.) - This may not be an issue, but if you turn the graphics settings to FSR frame generation on ultra or quality and have anti aliasing up to x8 or a setting similar to that. The lobby bullet proof glass starts to sparkle like twinkling stars even if you are not moving. (again I could be wrong, My graphics card could just be fried).

This is the best first-person shooter game I have ever played. The gameplay constantly keeps you on edge. Trenches is probably my favorite map and the best example of why. The environment is packed with details, everything has this grey, washed-out look, and soldiers naturally blend into the surroundings. Sometimes an enemy at a distance is barely more than a few pixels on your screen. You can stare directly at someone and still need a second to realize that you're looking at another player. Because of that, running around the map is usually a terrible idea. Most of the time I move slowly with my weapon already aimed, checking every position and trying to spot movement before someone spots me. Running starts making sense when you have to cross an exposed area or quickly move from one trench to another, but every time you do it feels like a risk. The sound design makes this even better, especially with headphones. You're constantly listening for footsteps, gunfire and movement somewhere around you, trying to figure out where another player might be. Firing your own weapon also gives away your position, so even shooting at someone immediately creates another problem: somebody else now knows roughly where you are. I recently had a perfect example of this. I noticed what looked like an enemy at a fairly long distance and started firing at him. After the shooting stopped, I had no idea whether I had actually killed him. I slowly started moving toward his position, aiming the entire time and checking the area. Eventually I spotted a human-shaped silhouette and immediately opened fire again. It was his corpse. I had already killed him during the original firefight and then dumped another burst into the body because, from that distance and in that environment, I genuinely couldn't tell. Situations like this happen because you're constantly unsure of what's around you. Every distant shape could be another player. Every sound could mean somebody is moving nearby. Every shot can expose you. And getting hit is extremely punishing, so knowing that somebody might already have you in their sights makes moving through the map genuinely stressful. The way characters react to being shot adds a lot to it as well. When a hit doesn't immediately kill someone, you can hear them screaming and struggling in pain. Combined with the gunfire, footsteps and limited information about where everyone actually is, it creates an incredibly intense atmosphere. At times the game genuinely feels like a horror game with guns. The shooting and movement are another huge reason why the game feels so good. Everything is incredibly intuitive. Where your weapon is actually pointing is where the bullet is going. You can aim down sights when you need precision, but you don't have to ADS every time you want to hit something. The weapon exists physically in the world, the bullet comes from the barrel, and your movement directly affects where that barrel is pointing. There is a small detail that demonstrates this perfectly. I tried shooting a ball on a pool table while aiming at it with the center of the screen. The shot landed next to the ball because the barrel was slightly offset from the crosshair. I adjusted for the actual position of the weapon, fired again, and the ball moved. It's such a small thing, but it immediately shows how much thought went into the shooting mechanics. Movement works the same way. Turning quickly, changing direction or moving your character creates visible inertia in the weapon. You don't have a completely static gun and crosshair while some invisible accuracy calculation decides that your bullets should suddenly fly somewhere else. You can actually see what your movement is doing to the weapon and compensate for it naturally. This is one of the reasons I enjoy the gunplay so much more than something like Counter-Strike. In Counter-Strike you have to learn an abstract set of movement and accuracy rules before the shooting starts making sense. Here, I didn't feel like I needed to learn the game's hidden physics. I could look at what my character and weapon were doing and immediately understand what was going to happen when I pulled the trigger. And all of this works perfectly with the tension I mentioned earlier. You can spend several minutes slowly clearing an area without seeing anyone, listening for movement and checking every possible position, and then suddenly everything explodes into a firefight. When the shooting itself feels this satisfying and predictable, those few seconds of violence after minutes of tension feel incredibly good. This is exactly the kind of shooter mechanics I would want if I were designing a game myself.

'Fun' for couple of hours but the mechanics get stale very fast. Don't get me wrong the gun aspect is very nice, but getting stuck in some little rock or a tree branch of which a hobbit could jump over, really sucks. Professional soldier throws grenades like little girl? Why? You can't vote kick AFK players, so they will just die repeatedly until the end of time :). Performance is ok at best, same thing for networking. Its not so realistic if majority of your player base needs to tune down their settings. The networking issues also cause animations to just bug out completely. For a game that advertises it self as a 'teamplay, tactics, and clutch skill are key.' the game feels very arcade like, and not in a good way. Small maps: you either spawn inside your teammate in TDM or get killed instantly as you spawn in DM, and in these cases because (of the realism aspect) there is no killcam or any kind of indication how you died, it feels 'unfair'. Bigger maps just feel empty because there a huge open areas with no cover. This forces everybody to either fight in a secluded hallway or nobody moves from their original foxhole. This would not be a such a big problem if the player amount would be higher than it currently is. The game feels like it does not know who is its target audience, the tactical shooter enjoyer who camps half a lifetime in a bush or the avg zoomer cod player who flys through corners in a nanosecond. Now it trys to do both and after the shine of the graphics and the gun handling starts to fade you are left with a so and so fps with little to show. Personally I think the 'hyper realistic' mechanics would work best in a single-player/co-op, where some sort of story and objective why you need to be tactical, instead of wasting mags/ammo like they are playing paintball. 5/10 - multiplayer experience. N/A - zombies was not available Maybe in a few months/years it will be more enjoyable, if the devs continue to work on it.

* Бескомпромиссный хардкор и TTK (Time To Kill).

i honestly like the game but i feel like they should make a kinda like story mode or a career i feel as if that would be very popular bc sometimes going in to games where people have been playing longer than you gets boring but i enjoy it most of the time but yah they should really make a career or story mode

This Game is amazing, it may have no story but the gameplay is fun and scary at the same time. You are expected to kill the enemy, if not they will kill you. The weapons are very fun to use and I like how you get points everytime you play a match fully to unlock new weapons or gun parts for your gun. Overall a 10/10 experience for me.
