Run PBSetup, add Battlefield 4, Update Punkbuster 4. Run pbsvc Enjoy the game Actual review, probably one of the best FPS games I've played in a good while. Do not buy it full price, it goes on sale for $2 so often you'd just waste your money.

  На зимней распродаже купил целый пак Баттлфилдов. И буду их штурмовать по порядку, на момент публикации обзора пройдены следующие части: Battlefield: Bad Company 2 ✔️(на другом аккаунте, обзор тут.) Battlefield 3 ✔️ Обзор тут. Battlefield 4 ✔️ Battlefield Hardline Battlefield 1 Battlefield V Когда-то играл в парочку частей (3 и 4 вроде) и понравилась кинематографичность картинки, поэтому решил нахрапом пройти их все, тем более, что миссии у них короткие (кто-то называет это минусом, а я только из-за этого и купил). Есть геймерская усталость от игр с геймплеем в 30+ часов. Хочется остросюжетки на пару-тройку вечеров, без особого дрочева. Онлайн в этих играх меня не интересует совсем. Итак: Battlefield 4: Золотая эпоха и неожиданные повороты 🎮✨ 🔹 Первая половина игры – топ, дальше – "а что это было?" Вступление и музыка – прямо в сердечко <3 И титры не советую сразу выключать. BF4 заслуженно носит звание одной из лучших частей серии: потрясающая графика, разрушаемость, и динамичный геймплей создают впечатляющий старт. Но увы, к середине игра как будто устала и решила сэкономить на сценаристах. Эффектный экшен сменился затянутыми миссиями и немым героем, который командует отрядом — потому что... ну, почему бы и нет? 🤔 🔹 Сюжет и персонажи: картонные, но запоминающиеся Кампания рассказывает про интриги злых генералов, "Могильщиков" и внезапных героев. Проблема доверия тянется через весь сюжет. Китаянка-супермен способна спасать мир одной левой, а Ирландец все никак не может рассказать почему его так зовут. Но главное — возможность в финале "решить судьбу" одного из героев. Что ж, спасибо за выбор, DICE. 😏 🔹 Геймплей: стрельба на высоте, ИИ – на дне Игра радует деталями: стрельба шикарна, отдача реальна, оружие обильно разложено везде. А вот интеллект противников скорее напоминает зомби-курсовку — подходят, смотрят, думают и... получают по голове. Напарники же стреляют с усердием, но без результата. ИИ - ну просто провал. Зато разрушения радуют глаз — укрытия можно уничтожить, а вот расчленёнки не дождёшься 🔪 🔹 Графика и оптимизация: киношный фотореализм Frostbite снова на высоте: фотореализм временами заставляет забыть, что игре уже больше 10 лет. Даже мыльцо на фоне не портит впечатления. А вот баги — портят: пропадание за пределы карты никто не отменял. 🔹 Итог: марафон или любовь к графике? Для одиночных игроков — красивая пустышка с потрясающим началом, но затянутым и посредственным концом. Стоит пройти ради опыта, фана и того, чтобы в финале с лёгкой улыбкой выбрать, кого "пожертвовать". 💣 Ну и в титрах улыбнуться (≖‿≖ ) По сравнению с Battlefield 3: чекпоинты стали реже, цена ошибки выше картинка стала красивше (было бы глупо если бы было наоборот) экшен стал более эпичный, от происходящего на экране прям дух захватывает. драматизм сюжетный подрос, эмоциональные качели раскачиваются больше ачивочки за сюжетку завезли! после прохождения осталось 12 неполученных ачивок кампании. Думаю, что оставлю это на перепрохождение лет через 5, если захочется. кампания стала чуть длиннее, но, в основном из-за секретиков разбросанных по карте. отсутствие долбанных QTE! Прям спасибо. Бесячие моменты （╯°□°）╯ ┻━┻ ❗️ все те же баги, что и в 3й части: то НПС проходит сквозь машину, то про открытии двери лифта не прогрузилась комната за ней… Сдается мне уже, что это особенность движка. ❗️ тупость AI команды в кампании. Они могут стоять спина к спине с противником и от кого-то отстреливаться. Это смешно и глупо. Не умеют зачищать точку абсолютно, бегают как болванчики, куда стреляют – не понятно. Один из самых тупых AI что я видел. ❗️ ввели поиск жетонов и оружия... Учитывая происходящее на экране, где сюжетно дорога каждая секунда, этот шмон жетонов не оправдан никак. Ладно, там, у Лары Крофт глаза горят на все блестяшки, как у чайки, это прям лором оправдано, но тут совершенно неуместно. А открывать некоторые крутые стволы очень хочется. Не люблю это искусственное растягивание геймплея побирательством. P.S. "Могильщик" снова в строю, но иногда кажется, что он просто молчит, чтобы не портить атмосферу. 😅

Too bad they forgot a key component of game design: being able to play the game Very unfortunate, the five or so minutes I actually spent in a match seemed kind of exciting. Too bad this is a fake product. Not even worth the price of a McChicken.... Update: I got it to work after a couple hours of troubleshooting. Glad I had to do that to get the game to run. Good stuff, players really need the extra challenge.

  As I write this Battlefield 6 will launch in a couple of hours. Revisited Battlefield 4 this year after almost 8-9 years and what a blast this has been. Firstly the Servers are still populated on a day to day basis and the community has kept this game alive for years with servers - just remember if you're new you have to use the battlelog website in order to find them more easily. Secondly this game is very cheap on sales and has a huge amount of content - both paid and free DLC. BF4 had in my opinion some of the best destruction, map design and overall the atmosphere and quality of the game holds up remarkably well, the really looks good for a 2013 game. The gunplay, unlocks, attachments, vehicle combat, custom playlists via community servers and truly breathtaking visuals for it's time make BF4 an absolute classic that has still been played and stood the test of time. The amount of replayability, content on offering and solid mechanics and gunplay are worth jumping into. One of the best aspects is that BF4 features Infantry combat, armored vehicles, tanks, helicopters, jets, attack boats, inflatable boats with miniguns, a variety of transport vehicles such as atv's, jeeps, snowmobiles, bikes that all can be fitted with C4 and driven into the enemy tanks and detonated, a certified classic BF moment. Battlefield 4 features a whopping 107 weapons, ensuring players can mix and match for a variety of play styles, making this game incredibly replayable. Highly recommend it during a sale or even full price if you've never tried it before, BF4 is one of the greatest in the franchise, let's hope BF6 lives up to the standards set here and beyond.

  Battlefield 4, it's like the newer battlefields, but it came out over 10 years earlier. The destruction is outstanding, the game play is highly realistic alongside the graphics which hold up very well to this day. It's got everything that everyone loves about battlefield just in a package that came out over 10 years ago. At least for now it's one of the only battlefield games that has not been updated to use EA's terrible Javelin kernel anti cheat and is still on the older Punkbuster. That's actually somewhat of a selling point for the game believe it or not, Javelin is not great. The game goes on sale for just a few dollars quite regularly, and it's a must buy at that price!

  It is a good game, although I don't play it as much. There is mostly nothing wrong with the gameplay or the community. I'd recommend it, but not for the full price, yall should just wait for it to be in sale again.

  Купил игру с мыслью просто побегать и пострелять, вспомнить старые времена. В итоге оказалось, что с серверами всё не так радужно. Их осталось очень мало, а те, что ещё работают, зачастую требуют подключения через сайт — в самом клиенте список серверов почему-то почти пустой, и подключиться напрямую бывает невозможно. Может быть, кто-то берёт игру ради кампании, но лично для меня это сомнительное удовольствие. За 80 рублей по скидке, конечно, можно попробовать, но практика показывает, что таким старым играм долго жить уже не приходится. К тому же даже когда удаётся зайти на сервер, возникают другие проблемы. Например, пару раз я просто не смог подключиться через сайт, а на одном сервере меня вообще кикнули после того, как я начал стрелять по врагу. Видимо, там действуют какие-то особые правила, о которых нужно заранее читать. В итоге решайте сами: готовы ли вы разбираться с подключением, читать правила каждого сервера и играть строго по ним — или проще пройти эту игру стороной.

  Battlefield 4 is often talked about for its multiplayer, but its campaign deserves more credit—especially if you're coming in for a focused, single-player experience. I played exclusively through the campaign, and despite its relatively short length, I found it thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. The gunplay is fluid and responsive, with clean weapon handling and intuitive controls for swapping between guns, loadouts, and explosives. Whether you're picking off targets with a sniper rifle or clearing rooms with an LMG, every weapon feels punchy and satisfying. Visually, the game still holds up well. While it may not hit modern AAA benchmarks anymore, the atmosphere of large-scale warzones, collapsed buildings, and high-intensity shootouts is delivered with impact. The level design balances spectacle with solid pacing, and there are just enough quieter moments to let the tension breathe before diving back into chaos. The campaign took me roughly 10 hours, but that includes some exploration for collectibles and revisiting missions for sniper-focused gameplay and achievements. If you’re just running it straight through, it will feel short. That said, I grabbed it during a 90% off sale, and for the price I paid, I really can’t find a reason to complain. Every mission felt worth my time, and the structure encouraged experimentation with different weapons and tactics. Battlefield 4 may be remembered for its multiplayer, but if you’re looking for a solid, story-driven FPS with tight gunplay, strong visuals, and high production values, the campaign holds its own.   Unironically the best battlefield to date (Yes even better than BF1 imho) The guns feel amazing, the maps are iconic and fun for the most part. the only genuine issue is just how hard it is to get into the game cus for the most part the people playing this game still to this day are probably vets who has over a decade of experience and hundred's of probably thousands of hours of in game playtime compared to you just starting out. Being decent at fps games helps but you are still probably going to get absolutely trashed when you first play by sweaty tryhards especially in maps like metro or locker. Though even with this I still think that if you can push past the starting barrier and get a bit of experience and feel fot he guns and playing and understanding the maps more, this game is such a golden gem its not even funny. The graphic's while not the most cinematic or the best of the best are serviceable enough to for most people who arnt absolutely anal about games looking uber realistic and that solely being the be all end all of their enjoyment when it comes to games that they are good enough to not gawk at (at least for modern standards) and not terrible enough to make any real complaints, its over a decade old and for the time period of this games existence they looked quite amazing but nowadays they are just fine at best. Unfortunately your region may be a bit of an issue. the biggest population of where this game resides in is NA, if you're EU you can still find some servers but past that places like asia dont exactly have very many players. Do not buy this game at its full price of 40$ as it goes on sale really really often. I bought it a few years back for 10$ on a christmas sale and I havent looked back since. Also, maybe you would wanna consider if the vehicle packs are on sale, consider buying them because you will get trashed by most vehicle players to be honest as again, more than likely they have tons and tons of hours of playtime and know the game very well and are very good. That is if you wanna avoid the god awful tedius grind of unlocking stuff for air vehicles especially. Overall, game good. Doesn't use Javelin AC (Which has actually been implemented into BF1, rendering bf1 as of right now unplayable on linux even though before the AC implementation it was perfectly fine) It works on linux pretty well if you are also on linux. Play with your team, play the objective, make some plays get some kills and have a good time.

  The game is good but making me install EA installer to run the game is just plain trash and just for that only giving this a 1 star, dont pay full price
