Here is your fix for having the Origin error - "Could not Activate"

Afterwards if you have issues with Punkbuster, just download the newest one from the net, go open it after installation and add in BF3 to it's list.
The game is still amazing to play, wish it was easier for many people to access it without going through bunch of fixes.

I'm a huge battlefield fan, but this game is broken and unplayable now due to issues with the EA/Origin app. Don't waste your money. It's garbage now. Probably intentionally done by EA so they can shut down the servers, and try sell you the next POS...usually worse than the last. The policies of these degenerate, triple A companies are the reason they're going down like a well oiled turd.

Delete all license files then attempt launch. A fix customers should not have to do, a fix the devs should have put in. Anyway this is how I got the game to work. I've chosen to amend this review and recommend the game ONLY because another customer provided tech support to get it working. I am not giving Steam, EA or DICE any credit, praise or approval for this. The fact that when we buy the game, WE have to bug fix while EA takes our money and scrams... is absolutely infuriating, I paid them for a working game and I am the one who has to fix it, so many others gave up and refunded because they didn't know this ^.

Когда-то играл в парочку частей (3 и 4 вроде) и понравилась кинематографичность картинки, поэтому решил нахрапом пройти их все, тем более, что миссии у них короткие (кто-то называет это минусом, а я только из-за этого и купил). Есть геймерская усталость от игр с геймплеем в 30+ часов. Хочется остросюжетки на пару-тройку вечеров, без особого дрочева. Онлайн в этих играх меня не интересует совсем. Итак:
Battlefield 3 — это шутер от первого лица, который стал достойным продолжением культовой серии. Вышедшая в 2011 году игра выделяется как визуально, так и по геймплею.
Геймплей и механика
Battlefield 3 впечатляет своей реалистичной стрельбой, разнообразным оружием и отличной динамикой сражений. Игровые механики тщательно проработаны: каждая карта уникальна, а техника и вооружение сбалансированы. Отдельные миссии, такие как эпизоды с самолётом, теряют эффектность из-за скучных механик.
Графика и звук:
Движок Frostbite 2 выдал отменные для своего времени визуальные эффекты. Разрушаемость и природные явления, такие как землетрясение, добавляют игре реализма. Но из-за бесячего QTE, порой отвлекаешься от приятных деталей картинки. Локации в Париже, Иране и Нью-Йорке детализированы и впечатляют своей атмосферой.
Звуковой дизайн также на высоте: специально играл в крутых наушниках (Sennheiser HD 650), чтобы эффект погружения был максимальным и оно того стоило. Саунддизайн у игры действительно весьма неплох: все гремит, стрельба ощущается чуть ли не отдачей, динамический диапазон позволяет ощутить мощь взрывов и разрушений.
Сюжет:
История, построенная как воспоминание морпеха Генри Блэкбёрна, сочетает экшен и драму. Допросы, глобальные конфликты и моральные дилеммы делают сюжет напряжённым и увлекательным. Особо выделяется интригующая концовка, оставляющая простор для размышлений. Реализм некоторых моментов под вопросом, но все же это не документалка, а голливудская экшен "жвачка", хотя и сделана весьма достойно.
Бесячие моменты:
⚠️Игре 14 лет, а до сих пор встречаются баги, которые прям бросаются в глаза. Даже интересно чего ожидать в следующих частях, надеюсь там более ответственно подошли к тестированию. Некоторые баги нелепые, некоторые серьезные вплоть до софтлока, который мешает прохождению (типа закрытой двери, которую не открыть, или НПС не выполняет скрипт для дальнейшего продвижения). Но, благо чекпоинты тут весьма частые, лечится перезапуском и встречаются не так часто.
⚠️Постоянно есть непонимание чего от тебя хотят, где нужно встать, куда смотреть, что делать (ну кроме очевидных команд). Играл на средней сложности. Может быть, из-за того что я не так часто играл в такие военные боевики, но в том же Crysis (всей серии) таких моментов значительно меньше. Некоторые моменты миссий надо перезапустить раза три, а то и пять, чтобы понять твою целевую задачу и вдуплить откуда по тебе прилетела шальная маслина. С самолётом я раз 5 перезапускал миссию, банально не вдупляя где нужно находиться в конкретный момент или куда смещаться в процессе, хотя из-за багов умирал даже в укрытиях... Короче, серия баттлы часто страдает от этого, причем за свободу действий и нестандартное поведение игра моментально наказывает.
⚠️QTE, пол игры тебя задрачивают на три кнопки, а в конце вводят новую, зачем? Чтобы что? Чтобы еще раз перезапустить миссию? Вообще QTE в этой игре в целом бесячая вещь, но в конце они умудрились удивить… QTE - зло!
⚠️Для запуска игры запускается браузер, в котором нужно прожать "Play Campagin" - судари знают толк в извращениях.
Общий вывод:
Battlefield 3 — неплохой представитель жанра военных шутеров. Она играется с интересом благодаря проработанному геймплею, кинематографичности и захватывающей атмосфере. Но страдает от ряда раздражающих геймплейных и технических моментов. По сравнению с Bad Company 2 ощущается слабее по сюжетной части и геймплейной, но приятнее по картинке. Переходим к Battlefield 4...
EA games, ребятки, а вы часом не офигели? То есть, вы выпускаете игру в Steam спустя столько времени, и по факту ее запуск производится через Origin, а не Steam. Я вот например специально брал ее здесь, чтобы уйти от клиента Origin, потому что мне он ну в край неудобен. Мало того, что в Battlefield 3 вы спустя столько времени поленились перенести запуск серверов в игре вместо браузера, так теперь еще и это. То есть игра, которую мне сначала надо запустить в Steam, затем перейти в Origin, затем в браузер и уже только там запустить. Ах да, зачем мне запускать ее в Steam, можно же просто зайти в Origin. Так а смысл тогда вы ее сюда выставили? Судя по всему, только ради доп. продажи. Ребят, ну это полный зашквар по ситуации. Если еще с Apex Legends будет также, думаю вас многие захейтят.
UPD: К самой игре, геймплею, графике и прочему претензий нет. Но прочитал обзоры других в Steam и понял, что сложность даже в том, чтобы найти сервер, что постоянные проблемы с античитом, вылеты и прочее. Кошмар, в общем.
I bought this for the nostalgia, remembering playing it back when I was a kid. Fighting enemies on a train, that classic death animation with the hand, flying jets in the campaign, it all hit me hard. The campaign is still awesome, realistic, tough, and well-paced. It brings back memories and delivers that gritty, immersive feel I remembered.
But man, actually playing it today is a nightmare. First off, I just want to play the campaign, solo, offline. Why the hell do I need to launch the EA App, link accounts, open a browser, and be online just to start the damn thing? It's like jumping through flaming hoops just to play a game I own. I haven’t even touched the multiplayer because honestly, I don’t want to deal with more broken systems and random kickouts from PunkBuster. And let’s not forget Battlelog, the outdated browser system that just adds more clutter. Everything around the game like the launchers, crashes, third party DRM completely ruins the experience.
I'm putting a negative review to this game only because of the ridiculous hoops you have to jump through just to access the single player campaign in 2025. No one should need to run three layers of DRM, stay online, and rely on a browser to play a campaign they bought on Steam. It's anti consumer and completely unnecessary. But the game itself? Still solid. If it just worked like any normal game on Steam, it would be an easy recommendation.
Bought this game on steam so I can play it right away not to start the EA app and then the Battlelog just to receive an error that I can't play it. Wasted half an hour to try fixes from youtube and community discussions, it feels like I payed for Bug Fixing Simulator.
If you don't want to waste your time, even if you see this low priced on sales, don't buy this game...they don't care about players.
В 2014 взял бесплатно на раздаче в ориджин, решил купить эту версию из-за dlc. Ориджин версия работает без проблем, а стим версия (на том же компьютере и браузере), либо просто бесконечно подключается к серверу, либо таки запускается но, вылетает секунд через 10 так и не начав загружать карту.
UPD: проблемы с вылетами при загрузке решил отключением steelseries engine, вот только как оказалось есть ещё одна проблема с баттллогом (нужно перезаходить хрен знает сколько раз, что бы он установил соединение с сервером).
UPDx2: нашёл способ нормально подключатся к серверам: в настройках игры в Ориджине надо снять галочку с «включить внутриигровой экран»; перед запуском выключить стим и Ориджин и только потом через браузер заходить в батллог.
И я ради этого раскошелился на стим версию?
Сама игра неплоха, сингл интереснее чем в 4 части. Не могу оставить положительный отзыв из-за танцев с бубном.

И на эту игру смешанные отзывы? Та вы издеваетесь! Вы вообще игру запускали, вы вообще её видели? Ах точно , читаю отзывы и половина клоунов не смогла её запустить, то ключ не могут ввести ( который и слепой заметит ) - то вообще игра не запускается , и танцы с бубном не помогают. ИНСТРУКЦИЯ ДЛЯ ЧАЙНИКОВ : Шаг первый - нажимаете кнопочку играть , шаг второй- автоматически запускается EA , шаг третий - открывается браузер и вкладка с сайтом battlelog ( такой онлайн штаб специально созданный под игру ), шаг четвёртый - нажимаете там жёлтую кнопку Play Campaign и вуаля игра запустилась . А теперь за саму игру она клёвая и в отличии от баганной бэт компани 2 работает норм , но обидно что разрабы с 2002-го года активно уточняют что " у нас сюжет для галочки ". Подозреваю они его банально не умеют делать( а колда кстати может ) - ( а я как раз не особо уважаю онлайн игры ) - но игру я купил по цене 4-х пачек мивины вирмишель так что оправдано ( это тебе не калл оф дюти где за игру 2003 года просят 700 гривен ( благо БФ всегда отдают за копейки ) БФ 3 вышла в 2011 году - она на год старше моего брата - а БФ БК2 вышел в 2010 году - но если он уже устарел ( а разница в год ) то БФ3 в нынешнем 2024 году ещё неплохо и выглядит . Игра полна клёвых моментов :побегать за американского солдата по улицам ирана ( что может быть более каноничным + атмосферным ) падение многоэтажки в первой миссии , казнь капрала Миллера ( аж задушу взяло ) , высадка русского десанта в миссии " молот и наковальня " А концовка вообще агонеь , всё закончилось тем с чего игра вообще началась + динамика , ночной город красота . - все эти моменты запоминаются на года . ( кста напоминаю , на 2011 год это походу топ один игра по требованию к свободной памяти - так для сводки ) короче игра хороша - пройду +- за 6 часов купил за 60 грн - не слушайте никого покупайте играйте . ( PS/ не люблю я толком сетинги ww1 ww2 и далёкого будущего а это золотая середина , война 21 го века интереснее всего )
I used to love this game but the mouth-breathers at EA seem to be incapable of the most basic, menial tasks. Despite having the game on Steam and my Steam account linked with the godawful miscarriage that is Origin-oh, right, they re-branded it to EA App because anyone with object permanence knows to associate Origin with buggy garbage that a 12 year old could have made.
I am unable to provide my activation key for this game that I bought on Steam, because Steam games don't typically come with activation keys. I've tried every workaround and will continue to try more, hopefully finding some success at some point (I do like the game after all).
My point in ranting here is that EA is one of the most incompetent companies imaginable. It's a Christmas miracle that their games function to any extent. I halfway expect my computer to spontaneously sublimate into vapor.
Face it, Origin (or whatever it is now) is awful. The inclusion of EA's library on Steam is an admission of defeat. I don't see why they try their hardest to make a duo Origin-Steam launcher combination work. It's no surprise that issues like this occur (to some people, obviously not everyone faces the same issues). If you're able to run this game without any issues, then that's fantastic. I'm certainly not trying to sell anyone a decade old game, nor am I trying to ward people away from it. Battlefield isn't the problem here. Per usual, EA is. The sooner the company liquidates and their IPs are absorbed by a different, more functional company, the better.
What's important to know is that if you're looking for the older Battlefield games for nostalgia and would like to purchase them on Steam, you run the risk of not being able to even run the game at all,
So, the game just randomly decided after 3hrs of playing that i have not purchased the game and i need to activate it :)
If i click on activate with code, it gives an error.
If i try to login again, it gives an error.
and NO I'm not going to install older version Origin app by deleting all its config files and then reinstalling the whole Windows just to run this game (that's the only fix it seems)
Apart from this common bug which makes it completely unplayable... in a perfectly normal scenario when the game was in working condition, your everyday experience when you click on the PLAY button on steam would look something like this...
1. game won't start and you will be kicked by PunkBuster for using overlay software.
2. Game launches 'Game Menu' in a browser, yeah you heard that right, a menu on a web browser like flash games from 1996.
3. It then starts connecting to your Origin account and EA servers. If that fails, you can’t play the game.
I won’t even discuss the actual gameplay and campaign (which are actually good) because it’s pointless when you can’t even play the game. Despite its 95% discount, I strongly advise not to buy.
This review is less for Battlefield 3 and more for how EA makes it a pain in the ass to actually launch and play the game. Launching the game won't actually start the game and bring you to a main menu but instead launch 'Battlelog' on your internet browser (because a main menu like EVERY OTHER GAME EVER would be too easy). Supposedly from there you can launch the campaign, co-op, or use the server browser to actually launch the game. I've only gotten this to work one time and since then it will not launch anything, I get stuck on an endless message of 'Joining server' or 'Initializing' and then nothing. I've tried every fix I could find on Google, from verifying game files, allowing the game and webhelper app through the firewall, deleting the settings files, deleting the EA Licenses folder, and just nuking it and re-installing several times. Only one time ever did I get into a server, and it was empty.
Battlefield 3 is a great game and one of the best FPS titles ever made imo, but EA has made it impossible for me to launch. I had an easier time getting modded Fallout 3 to run smoothly on Windows 10 than trying to get this game to work. Cannot recommend anyone to get it since EA wanted to force the stupid Battlelog system on everyone.
I got this game in 2021 because of it's nostalgia in my life, when I was 8 years old my dad go this game and I remember when he played the campaign and fought enemies on a train, the death animation with the hand made me smile because it was like the original. He would also be a sniper in the multiplayer a lot, there were times when he would have a pilots game stick controller so that he could fly jets in a simulation. Although, he is not with us anymore because cancer took him about 2 years ago. He did a lot of gaming, and that's why most of his games give me memories.
Campaign: Very realistic and still very good, it is also very hard.
Multiplayer: Almost dead, most of the time when I join matches I just get kicked by PunkBuster a few minutes later. I never know why but I figured I would just stop playing it.
Guide for those being asked for activation key and having multiplayer issue's:
FIX 1:
( Works for fresh instillation and for those who still have the installed setup but failed to launch the game )
1.) Install the game> Start both the launchers (steam and EA) but don't run the game.
2.) Download and install VU client launcher from link Here
3.) Right click the VU client icon on desktop> Select Properties> Go to shortcut Tab > Go To
Target > at the end of Target path after VU.exe hit space(space bar) and paste
-activate -o_mail ***** -o_pass ++++++++ and hit apply and ok
(replace ***** with your origin\EA email id
and
++++++++ with your Origin\EA password)
For example the target will look something like this
\VeniceUnleashed\client\vu.exe -activate -o_mail [email protected] -o_pass

4.) Run the VU launcher ( There will be no popups. Can be run Multiple time's no
issue, but there will be no pop ups at all).
5.) Now launch the game from steam> Your browser will launch with Battle log> Hit play
Campaign> A battlefield icon will appear on the taskbar> Click the icon on the taskbar to
launches the game.
Note : Uninstall the VU Client launcher after the first launch of the game.
(only for one time use)

It works i tried it twice, once before my system crash due to some technical issue and once after a fresh system setup
FIX 2:
For Error: We could not activate Battlefield 3 on this computer using Origin Account you provided. Please locate your product key to activate the game using your Origin Account.
Enter Product Key
1.) Close your game and check task manager its is not running in the background.
2.) Open Windows Explorer
3.) On the menu bar Go to View > Show > Hidden items(make sure the mark on hidden items
is checked or ProgamData folder will not be visible)
4.) Go to C:>ProgramData > Electronic Arts > EA Services > License
5.) In Licence Folder Move file 71067.dlf or 71069.dlf or Both files Or all the visible .dlf files to
the Desktop in a new folder.
6.) Now launch the game Everything should work fine

The above step dose not work you can delete Electronic Arts folder from ProgramData (even delete Origin folder if present)
Or
Uninstall EA app > Reinstall EA app > Sign in on EA app > Click on Battlefield 3 > Click on Manage > Click on message that reads " repair" game will repair itself(wait for the process to complete). Then you can play the again (First try to repair the game from steam)
Or
Renaming Your PC. Go to Settings > System > Rename "just change the name of your machine" (Just found in an comment by one of the player on YouTube)

MULTIPLAYER ISSUES'S
FOR ERROR: Game disconnected:you were kicked by PunkBuster. Stated reason:PunkBuster Kicked player 'General_Teet' (for 0 minutes)...This PB Servers Requires (A1386 C2.352)- Error loading pbag
1.) Download and update Punkbuster from the link i have provided but don't close the
Window.
2.) Click the Add Game tab on the window.
3.) A new window will popup
4.) In the Game: tab drop down menu select Battlefield 3
and click Add Game button on the bottom right.
5.) Please Let the download process complete and hit Quit Tab
and close the window.

WORST EXPERIENCE...!!! (EDIT : i Fixed the issue. How? Check Below)
I bought the game but Guess what i am not able to play it at all.
The Game Doesn't Starts, then when it tries to do EA Hammers it down by saying "CAnnot Activate the product"!! What should i do,? I just wasted my Money! Cant even Play the Game..!! Developers You are really ♥♥♥♥! Just giving Expensive DLC'c but cannot fix a Game starting issues..!!
After HOurs and Hours of Patches and fixes, The Game finally starts...
This game has memories I love this game and its really a Old Gold mine must play but as i said EA Sucks!! So understand...!!
For those who are being asked for activation key:
1.) Install the game you can start both the launchers (steam and EA) but don't run the game.
2.) Download and install VU client launcher from VeniceUnleashed Launcher(Download it)
3.) Right click the VU client icon on desktop> Select Properties> Go to shortcut Tab > Go To Target > at the end of Target path after VU.exe hit space(space bar) an paste -activate -o_mail ***** -o_pass ++++++++ and hit apply and ok (replace ***** with your full origin\EA email id and ++++++++ with your Origin\EA password)

4.) Run the VU launcher ( There will be no popups. You can run it 2 or 3 time it's OK, but there will be no pop ups).

6.) Now You can Run the game from steam> Battle log will be launched on the browser Hit play Campaign and after that there will appear a battlefield icon on the taskbar click the icon it launches the game.
Note : There is no longer need for the VU Client Launcher uninstall the VU Client launcher when the game starts.(only one use for the first time)

doesn't work consistently online at all. you have to download punkbuster from the website and do a bunch of extra ♥♥♥♥ just to not get booted instantly from a server. once you've done that the game might just be stuck at 15 fps until you use a console command. oh and every time you die it resets the FPS bug! nice job EA!
BF3 was an absolute masterpiece for its time, surpassing both previous games and all competitors titles due to:
Highly optimised engine with polished physical system, which is basically series 'visit card'.
High quality graphics, which look solid even now.
Many tweaks of a gameplay, such as better handling for all vehicles (especially helicopters and planes), rebalanced hand weapons and vehicles cannons, improved attachments and equipment, enhanced global destruction system.
Return of a bigger maps, full of heavy armored and aerial vehicles, including long awaited planes.
Possibility to adapt ambient by blow upping or ramming stuff, walls or even whole buildings in a much fancier ways that BF: BC2 provided.
Better collision meshes, which allow to shoot through even smallest gaps without bullets being chewed by invisible barriers.
New score system, which really promotes non-combatant activity like reconing, repairing and driving, while also improving score distribution for kills and assistings.
Tanks and APCs finally not crippled anymore and can use both main weapon and imbedded machine gun.
Fully functional story campaign instead of pack of MP maps being played in a line. Nothing revolutionary comparing to similar games, but still solid enough to play at least once.
Some downsides happend as well, for example - infamous BattleLog browser plugin, which is mandatory bulkhead between Origin and game executables, required to launch both singleplayer campaign and multiplayer matchmaking system.
Lots of initial release bugs, some of which still occure.
Periodical problems with PunkBuster anticheat, which always was an issue for the whole series.
But other than that, game doenst have any real problems and still worth to play even now, due to stable 200-250 population and low system requirements, thus even potato PCs can launch it on low-mediums.
And quick answer for those, who are confused why whilst giving positive review, Im thumb downing this game - the anwer is Steam! Thats right, alone with Steam's version of TES: Morrowind, Dracula dilogy and majority of other EA's titles like Crysis or TitanFall, BF3 on Steam simply unplayable!
At first I thought its something on my side (or just bad luck) and didn't want to write a bad review, but after reading so many negative reviews of other customers, Im sure that its a failure of either EA and their BattleLog system or Steam as service provider. Either way, both should be ashamed for still not fixed problem with servers connection.
I tried everything that Steam Community and other sites suggest - rechecked file integrity, reinstalled PunkBuster, tried to launch game from Steam and Origin clients, set different browsers for BattleLog to use, turned off clients overlays, removed license file generated by Origin, but nothing worked.
Since I had this game on Origin as well (not Premium, but Limited edition) I installed it and guess what - game not just connected to the first tried server without any issues. Even better, its pimped to Premium as well, since Steam version was obtained in this version, so I can access all premium functions without a headache, including ability to play on servers which use DLC content.
So at the end - BF3 is a good game, still solid even comparing with a newer versions, but the fact that you cant play multiplayer on Steam version ruines whole purpose of multiplayer-oriented game at all.
Thus, dont waste your money here and if you really want - buy it on Origin or purchase Steam versions of newer BFs, which at least will work due to removal of BattleLog browser plugin as mandatory thing.

Если это искусственное ограничение от разработчиков, то советую вам обратиться за помощью к специалисту. Только клоуны могли оставить в описании русский язык и поставить запрет на вход в игру с русского клиента :D
Видимо не стоило мне запускать и тревожить труп этой игры.
Раньше через Origin игра работала нормально, а сейчас даже проходя кампанию удивляюсь как отлетают трупы противников и тп баги которых я раньше не видел.
Жаль что сейчас не вернуть те эмоции когда ты еще студент который играет в бф3 в 2011. Каждое DLC было действительно интересным и народ ждал их выхода.
Фанат AWP играет с M98B вот это врезалось в память.
Провел не мало времени в этой игре играя через ориджин. На тот момент игра полностью превосходила КСС и КОД по графону.
Онлайн перестрелки в метро и этот постоянно открытый браузер как начальный экран для игры)
Единственное почему БФ всегда была на втором месте после КОД это хитрег который в серии БФ был на плохом уровне сколько бы на это не закрывали глаза фанатики серии. Я просто высказываю мнение и оно может отличаться от вашего.
Я всё же отношусь к ПК боярам поэтому предпочитаю CS, а БФ и КОД отношу больше к консольным играм хотя я не воспринимаю шутеры на консолях.
Советую так же поиграть в Bad company 2 и Hardline.
Тоже крутые шутеры.
БФ мне нравится противостоянием двух сторон которые представлены в лице США и РФ. Это наша история на которую мы не влияем. Мои предки были на стороне красной армии поэтому я духовно всегда буду относить себя к стороне РФ. Я думаю на русском и всегда относился к русскоговорям хоть и знаю два языка))
Кстати очень интересный момент в плане изучения языков. У тебя появляется отдельная личность при разговоре на разных языках. (Меняется манера и подача это помогает думать более обширно и под разными углами)
Это очень важный момент на который не обращают люди которые погрязли в пропаганде.
Только изучение истории может вам прояснить что там вы никому не нужны. Хотите не позорить имидж любой страны просто работайте и всё. За мирное существование.

Персонажи в игре сделаны очень круто.
Геймплей сделан в идеальном балансе чтобы игра не скатывалась в скучный симулятор типо Арма.
Я очень хотел чтобы не было мировых войн и народ воевал только в шутерах типо BF. Жаль что БФ не является игрой с чемпионатами и возможностью следить за ней как за футболом.
За это мне всегда нравился КС потому что это было соперничество между СНГ и Европой.
Именно дружеское и чисто киберспортивное соперничество кто круче играет.
То как NAVI в 2010 и в 2021 нагнуло всю сцену.
То как Спирит начали катать в 2024.
Монеси стал играть намного лучше.
Симпл вернулся в КС, но без СНГ состава мне кажется ему будет не комфортно.
Я хотел посмотреть на состав Нави 2021 под другим тегом. Киберспорт должен быть без этих отношений между странами.
Это исторические моменты которые проясняются при изучении геополитики.
Играйте в БФ если ударила ностальгия.
Удивительно как БФ 3 и БФ4 превосходят новые игры. То насколько раньше были сильные разработчики которые делали игры намного лучше последующих.
Пушки в игре даже сейчас ощущаются круто.
Графон отличный.
Игра атмосферная и даёт крутые ощущения как в онлайне так и в одиночной компании.
Возможно даже пройду компанию еще раз в Стиме. Достижения наверное единственное что мотивирует игроков проходить игры повторно.

Советую к покупке только 3ку и 4ку. Я старый дед и играть в последующие игры серии дольше 10 часов совершенно не хочется.
Это позор если ваша игра BF 2042 только с огромными скидками может составить конкуренцию игре Squad.
КОД в этом плане предпочтительнее, но как вы понимаете население у нас такое что игра воспринимается очень дорогой поэтому её у нас не покупают, а на самом деле это очень крутой геймплей.
Именно игры БФ и КОД сделали из меня отшельника который играет только соло DeathMatch в CS чтобы выбить сундук раз в неделю.
Это даёт возможность покупать Батлфилд в Стиме)))

Controller support is a lie. You can't even get past the first QuickTime Event because it wants you to hit the mouse button. Even though in the bindings and in the game the trigger shoots, it doesn't work for these events
Partly because the EA App (Origin) is a mess and partly because BF3's quirky web browser based Battlelog that EA was dead set on 15 years ago, its a pain to get running. Windows users might have it better, but its a shame the game was left in this state. While Battlefield 4 has zero issues outside of needing to manually install Punkbuster (like with this game), BF3 requires spoofing the web browser to appear like Windows+Chromium and a modicum of prayers that when you join a server, Origin and game don't just crash instantly.
Venice Unleashed seemingly still has teething issues with Linux, though manually installing dxcompiler_47 does allow you to load in. However, I was experiencing crashes after ~30 seconds in a server, same with self-hosting my own server. This has no bearing on the Battlefield 3 core product, just worth knowing if you're going to buy it for Linux/Steam Deck.
