Battlefield 2042 had a terrible launch and it deserved all the criticism it got but after putting in hours, I’ve come to appreciate what it eventually became. It’s not on the level of Battlefield 3 or 4 which are still my top picks but there’s a solid game buried under all that mess. The gun-play feels good, squad play can still deliver that classic Battlefield chaos and some of the updates genuinely improved the experience. It still has its flaws, like weak map design and questionable balance but if you go in with tempered expectations, there’s fun to be had. It’s not the Battlefield we wanted but it’s no longer the joke it started as. As Battlefield 6 approaches in couple of days, 2042 is worth revisiting only if you want to appreciate how far it’s come and how far the series still needs to go.

Ну что ж, добрался я наконец до Battlefield 2042, и если честно… впечатления такие, знаешь, довольно смешанные. Я как человек, который в своё время залипал в Battlefield 4 просто тоннами часов, очень ждал, что новая часть даст какой-то прям вау-эффект. Типа новые ощущения, новый уровень эпика и всё такое. Но на деле получилось немного… ну, такое себе. С одной стороны, да — игра выглядит современно, масштаб карт огромный, техника, погодные эффекты, торнадо — всё это звучит круто. Когда первый раз заходишь в катку, думаешь: «О, ну сейчас будет мясо». И иногда оно реально бывает. Но чем дольше играешь, тем сильнее ловишь себя на мысли, что это всё тот же самый Battlefield, просто в новой обёртке. Типа да, новые специалисты, новые карты, немного другой стиль геймплея — но по ощущениям это всё равно знакомая формула. И вот тут начинается главный момент: вроде бы всё ок, но какого-то свежего опыта, чтобы прям «вау, это новый уровень или какие то приколы новые», честно говоря, не чувствуется. Ещё немного смущают некоторые геймплейные решения. В Battlefield 4 всё было как-то более цельно и понятно: классы, баланс, темп боёв. А тут иногда создаётся ощущение, что игра сама не до конца определилась, чем она хочет быть. Вроде пытается быть современной, добавляет всякие механики, но в итоге часть из них ощущается немного странно. И вот из-за этого весь опыт получается таким… ну, нормальным, но без восторга. То есть поиграть можно, иногда даже весело, но чтобы прям возвращаться снова и снова — такого сильного желания не возникает. Если говорить максимально честно, моя оценка — где-то 6 из 10. Не катастрофа, играть можно, но и суперпрорывом я бы это точно не назвал. При этом справедливости ради стоит сказать: если человек фанат серии Battlefield, то ему, скорее всего, может зайти. Потому что основные элементы серии всё равно на месте — масштабные бои, техника, хаос на карте, командные зарубы. Но лично для меня всё равно ближе и роднее остаётся старая добрая Battlefield 4. Там как-то всё ощущалось более атмосферно, более цельно и, честно говоря, просто душевнее. Так что Battlefield 2042 — это не полный провал, но и не тот Battlefield, который хотелось увидеть спустя столько лет ожидания. Просто нормальный шутер в знакомой серии, без особых откровений. Ну, как говорится, поиграть можно… но легендой он вряд ли станет.

Battlefield™ 2042 — отличная игра, которую ты не можешь запустить Представь: ты заходишь в Origin/Steam, настраиваешься на киберпанковое месиво с погодными катастрофами, смотришь трейлеры с кучей взрывов, в голове играет тема из BF3, а в ответ — **ошибка SecureBoot, иди нафиг, запуска не будет**. Вот такой он, **Battlefield™ 2042** — вроде игра классная, а вроде и **"иди нахрен обратно в BIOS"**. Сама игра — конфетка Графон мощный, карты огромные, пушки стреляют так, что аж зрачки трясутся. Экшен яркий, динамичный, вертикальный — как будто Apex и BF3 поженились, родили суперсолдата и бросили его на торнадо. Есть кастомизация, классы, спецперсы, всякие фичи вроде смены прицелов на лету — ну, кайф. Или был бы, если б запускалась. Но!</h2] **SecureBoot**. Этот сраный модуль. Ты мог не трогать игру полгода, а потом возвращаешься — и всё, забор, кирпичная стена, BIOS-бродилка. EA, какого чёрта я должен влезать в UEFI и ковыряться в безопасной загрузке, чтобы просто поиграть в шутер? ✅ Плюсы: Безумный, эпичный геймплей Много режимов, кастомизации и экшона Погодные эффекты просто вау Техника рулит, как и всегда в серии Оптимизация стала лучше со временем ❌ Минусы: SecureBoot error после пары месяцев без игры — запуск невозможен без шаманства EA всё ещё думает, что BIOS-ошибки — это нормально для AAA-шутера Не у всех игра стабильна после патчей Некоторые карты всё ещё без души Вердикт: 6 из 10. I came back to Battlefield 2042 after playing Battlefield 6 and honestly I never expected to say this I used to hate Battlefield 2042 I was one of the people who thought it was a huge disappointment. But after spending a lot of time with Battlefield 6 I decided to go back to 2042 and now I finally understand what this game was trying to be For me, Battlefield 2042 is simply more comfortable and more fun to play. The visual presentation might not be as technically impressive as Battlefield 6, but I actually prefer how 2042 looks and feels. The image is clear, the characters are easy to see, the UI is comfortable, and the menus are simple and easy to understand. I can look at my loadout, weapons, attachments and character and immediately know what I'm doing. And the biggest thing for me is the sandbox. The vehicles, jets and helicopters are a huge part of what makes Battlefield feel like Battlefield. I love being able to spend time learning how to fly, practicing maneuvers, attacking objectives and just having those crazy Battlefield moments that you remember after the match. Battlefield 2042 also gives me that feeling of freedom that I personally miss in Battlefield 6. Now, Battlefield 6 definitely has some great things. The graphics are impressive, the animations are polished, the gunplay can feel satisfying, and the overall presentation is very modern. But after playing it for a long time, I started noticing things that really bothered me. For me, the visual design is sometimes too busy, the weapon presentation doesn't feel as good, and the overall experience doesn't feel as comfortable to read and play as 2042. The game can look technically incredible while still not looking or feeling better to my eyes. And that's the important part: Technical quality doesn't automatically mean better gameplay. I bought and played both games. I gave Battlefield 6 a real chance. And instead of making me forget about 2042, it actually made me appreciate 2042 more. So yeah… I went from: I hate Battlefield 2042. to: Why the hell am I having more fun here than in Battlefield 6? 😂 I'm going back to 2042, and this time I'm actually going to learn the game properly — especially the jets and helicopters. Maybe 2042 wasn't as bad as I thought. Maybe I just needed Battlefield 6 to make me appreciate it. Back to 2042. ✈️🚁🔥

Недавно увидел обзор на эту игру от одного из своих друзей, и честно говоря сильно удивился его столь негативному обзору. ВАЖНО ПОНИМАТЬ ! Да, игра не идеальна Да, это не то, что вы ждете в наследниках 3 и 4 части этой франшизы Но, если отойти ванильной ностальгии по прошлым сериям - то поймете, что в нее все еще весело играть, бои и перестрелки все еще цепляют и захватывают. Оружия достаточно, что бы найти себе любимое и получать удовольствия от игры с ним. Техника вносит разнообразие и свою изюминку, управление отзывчивое и не раздражающее. Можно по разному относиться к переделке классов и к упору на специалистов в этой части игры. Лично я не испытал сложностей с этим, да и по большому счету видя, определенного специалиста в матче понимаешь, что от него ждать, так как они хорошо описывают геймплей людей, которые берут этих специалистов. Писали, что 75 процентов карт в матче пустые, и бои сосредоточены в определенных точках, что это определенно минус, ну так скачивайте шутеры по типу кс2 и радуги и получите бои на всей карте. Да и как вы эти 75 процентов высчитали, что за такие гениальные расчеты? Игру часто отдают по скидке, чуть дороже чем проехаться на метро - и для веселого времяпрепровождения она подходит более чем. Так что, да, это не великий мастодонт в классе шутеров, но она все еще дарует положительные эмоции и точно не заслуживает столь огромного хейта, который ей так приписывают. Если у вас есть друг, и вы ищете во что бы поиграть вечерком после работы - то это неплохой выбор Ждём следующую часть, всем добра и позитива)

I am first playing this game as of 1/6/2026 so i cannot speak about the launch of this game which is a heated topic I hear. As of now, this game is more fun than Battlefield 6. The maps are better, the gameplay is better, and there are map events which i missed from battlefield five. I have over 350 hours on Battlefield 6 so i believe I am allowed to critique it. Battlefield 6's current state is sad, the rush of a new released and a badass trailer fueled me to play this game for so long. Now after trying Battlefield 2042 I realized that Battlefield 6 is boring. It lacks map diversity, and every match feels the same. Also, it gets super tiring playing the same three maps over and over again when you click to queue into conquest. However, 2042 has its issues. Vehicle gameplay is ass, every single one of them. It's hard to fill servers, often having 50/128 and that includes 20 bots. Skins are garbage too, the two things i like about battlefield 6 is the skins and the vehicles. I'm going to be sticking to Battlefield 2042 for a while until EA steps up their game and improves the Battlefield 6 experience. WE WANT MORE MAPS!!!

Когда вышла Battlefield 2042, я, как и многие, сначала просто наблюдал со стороны: новости о провальном релизе, баги, отсутствие базовых функций. Возвращаться в это не хотелось. Но время прошло. Игру допиливали, переделывали карты, балансили механики. И в какой-то момент стало интересно — не вернулся ли там тот самый Battlefield, пусть и в новом обличье. Этот обзор — результат не первых эмоций, а времени, проведённого в матчах, где игра либо окончательно разочаровывала, либо внезапно показывала, какой она могла быть с самого начала. 🌪️ О чём игра? Battlefield 2042 — это масштабный мультиплеерный шутер от первого лица, действие которого разворачивается в недалёком будущем, где климатические катастрофы и войны за ресурсы раскололи мир. Игра делает ставку на динамичные сражения на огромных картах с участием до 128 игроков, где важны не только стрельба, но и грамотная работа с техникой, разрушаемостью окружения и даже погодными аномалиями. В отличие от предыдущих частей серии, здесь полностью отказались от одиночной кампании. Вместо неё представлены три ключевых направления: классический All-Out Warfare (завоевание и прорыв), Hazard Zone — более тактический режим с упором на выживание и риск, и Portal, который позволяет играть и настраивать режимы с контентом из старых частей Battlefield. Основной акцент сделан на масштаб и хаос, где исход боя часто решает не индивидуальный скилл, а слаженность команды. 💡 Моё мнение об игре Считаю, что Battlefield 2042 — это игра с огромным, но нереализованным вовремя потенциалом. После крайне неудачного релиза, переполненного багами, техническими проблемами и странными дизайнерскими решениями, DICE пришлось буквально вытаскивать проект с того света. И надо признать — часть работы была сделана качественно. Сегодня игра ощущается значительно стабильнее и целостнее, чем на старте. Если абстрагироваться от прошлого, в 2042 всё ещё можно поймать те самые моменты, за которые любят серию: когда ураган сносит половину карты, техника прорывает оборону, а отряд синхронно заходит на точку — это всё ещё Battlefield. Но при этом остаётся чувство, что игра постоянно сама себе мешает: отдельные решения в дизайне и структуре не дают ей раскрыться на полную. 🔹 Что в игре действительно хорошо? • Эпичные масштабы сражений — 128 игроков, крупные карты, техника и погодные катаклизмы создают ощущение настоящего фронта. Когда матч складывается удачно, хаос выглядит впечатляюще. • Техника по-прежнему сильна — танки, вертолёты и дроны ощущаются мощно и полезно. Воздушные бои и поддержка с воздуха остаются одной из самых зрелищных частей геймплея. • Графика и звук — погодные эффекты, освещение и звуковой дизайн работают на погружение: взрывы, стрельба и окружающий шум создают плотную атмосферу боя. • Portal — лучший режим в игре. Возможность играть на картах из BF1942, Bad Company 2 и BF3 с кастомными правилами — настоящий подарок для ветеранов серии. 🔻 Минусы, которые портят впечатление • Провальный старт — релиз нанёс игре урон, от которого она до конца так и не оправилась. Многие игроки просто не вернулись. • Специалисты вместо классов — система с уникальными гаджетами размыла командные роли, из-за чего координация стала менее читаемой. • Проблемы с дизайном карт — особенно на релизе: слишком открытые пространства, мало укрытий, бег вместо тактики. • Нехватка атмосферы — игре не хватает тех самых моментов “Only in Battlefield”, которыми запоминались BF3 и BF4. ⭐ Оцениваю игру на: 6.5/10 (потенциал на 8) Battlefield 2042 ощущается как мощный, но недоведённый до ума проект. У игры смешанные отзывы из-за ужасного старта, но на выходе спустя годы можно сказать что разработчики занялись игрой, и доделали ее до очень хорошего состояния. Все еще не уровень легендарных предыдущих частей, но вполне играбельная и приятная игра на момента 2025 года, так что если не знаете что взять на скидках, то вполне хороший вариант, если вам нравится бодрый геймплей, тем более что сейчас игру на скидках отдают по цене пачки чипсов

I bought this game for $5 back in 2024 It was a blast. Massive maps, huge battles, refreshing map changes. Then battlefield 6 came out and is also great thought I'd never come back to 2042. However even though the vehicles, gun play, and general combat are better in 6 the matches feel very repetitive. After 106 hours of 6 I just don't look forward to playing it with friends anymore. Most maps are small and restricting forcing you to have the same fights over and over and over. Call this game what you will, but even with its COD weapons, its questionable physics, and general bugginess. Even with all that I've never once said "Nah, 2042 is boring". Every single match feels original and fresh. I shall be returning to 2042 until 6 gets the love it deserves. it truly hope it follows the path this game did were a few years later it's amazing.

Рабы батлпаса для 6 батлфилда занизили отзывы 2042, потому что не могут жить без скинчиков. Даже страшно смотреть на подобный, извините, наркоманский подход к развлечениям. Вижу в отзывах людей со 100 (!) часами игры, которые пишут негативное ревью: "Купил игру чисто ради батлпаса 6 батлфилда, капец как страдаю играя в 2024!". Ужас. Блин, вот реально некуда время, нервы и деньги девать. Мне, честно, ваще похер на скинчики, хоть они и приятный бонус. Больше зашла скидка 95%. Игра ненапряжная, в ней можно получать тонну фана - за это её и рекомендую. Хоть и геймплей не батлфилд 6, конечно. Играется приятно.

One of the best games to play solo with bots or in co-op with friends during some free time on the weekend. Don’t get me wrong—I used to be a pretty hardcore gamer and was very good at competitive shooters and PvP games back in the day. But time can be cruel. Once I hit 35, I started feeling like I just didn’t have the energy anymore to keep up with the younger generation of PvP players. These days, I’ve gradually shifted toward playing games mainly for fun and relaxation. Back in the Battlefield 2 days, when I was still playing the game from a physical disc, it already had features that allowed you to host private or solo matches with bots. For me, having that kind of option again is one of the biggest highlights of Battlefield 2042. When Battlefield 2042 first launched, I honestly couldn’t last more than about 20 minutes before uninstalling it because the game was missing so many things. But in its current state, it’s actually a great experience. I also hope that maybe six months from now, Battlefield 6 will allow players to create Solo/Co-op matches more freely, because I’d really like to move over to that game eventually. I really enjoy the gameplay of Battlefield 6, but everything feels a little too fast-paced for me. Being forced to join matches with other players, along with the XP limitations when playing against bots, are the main reasons I’ve decided not to choose it for now. Hopefully DICE updates and improves those features sooner rather than later.

A high-octane first-person shooter. This is my first entry into the franchise, and as a newcomer, I’m genuinely impressed. Every match is packed with action, and it’s especially fun when squading up with friends. There’s a solid variety of vehicles, a massive arsenal of weapons (even if most players just stick to the meta), and the specialist classes are actually interesting to play. I jumped in three years after the launch, and by now, the game feels fully polished. The issues people hated at the start have been fixed: classes are back, and weapon progression has much more depth. I particularly love the "Plus System" (changing attachments on the fly) — it lets you adapt your gun to any situation mid-combat. It’s also a relief that there’s no Pay-to-Win; microtransactions are strictly cosmetic and don't touch the balance. The optimization is solid, and the graphics are vibrant and easy on the eyes. However, that’s where the praise ends. The game is dominated by hardcore veterans, leading to a noticeable power gap — from weapon attachments to vehicle mastery. The progression system is okay, but as a newbie with stock guns, you’re constantly pitted against "maxed-out" opponents because the matchmaking doesn't seem to account for skill or gear. In every match, there are players who know every bush and stone, sitting in positions with "one-button" gameplay that completely kills any desire for tactical movement. The game definitely has its flaws, but overall, it’s not as bad as people say. I feel the current user ratings don't quite do it justice.

Начал играть в марте 2025 года, поэтому застал уже стабильную версию игры. Для меня это был полноценный, живой шутер без релизного хаоса. В игре много техники, оружия и классов. Билды приходится подстраивать часто под карту, режим и ситуацию. Это не тот шутер, где выбрал одно и бегаешь вечно. Тут нужно думать. Есть масштабные режимы 64 на 64 и Прорыв и именно там чувствуется настоящий Battlefield. Когда вокруг техника, взрывы, дым, а ты пытаешься удержать точку или продавить оборону эмоции зашкаливают. Играю достаточно хорошо, поэтому ощущаю её глубже. В основном играл за снайпера механика стрельбы мне понравилась. Продумана скорость полёта пули, есть падение, нужно учитывать дистанцию. Снайперы часто перестреливаются между собой, и эти дуэли отдельный кайф. Иногда забирал типов с 600–800 метров и в такие моменты адреналин просто пробивает. Ради таких попаданий хочется заходить снова. Техника ощущается мощной и визуально, и в бою. Играть на ней весело, особенно приятно сбивать самолёты с зенитки. Когда ловишь вражеский самолёт в прицел и доводишь дело до конца ощущение победы максимально сочное. Да, баланс иногда спорный, но в целом игра дарит эмоции. И лично мне именно эта часть Battlefield зашла больше остальных. Люблю онлайн-игры, и здесь я реально получал удовольствие. Если заходить сейчас играть можно смело с кайфом игра хорошая рекомендую! если нравятся онлайн война то однозначно топ

Battlefield 2042 is a strong shooter for people who want something different from typical Call of Duty or Counter-Strike. There are not many maps, but each one has its own unique atmosphere and style of fighting, so the game never gets boring. Besides, there is a nice solo mode for players who like to play calmly and practice. The gameplay is fast, intense, and not predictable. There is always something happening on the maps. Some fight inside buildings, others drive tanks or fly helicopters. The fights are strong, and the situation can change in a few seconds. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to see or forces players to move, which makes the game more exciting. The game gives a lot of freedom. You can play aggressively, help your team, or act alone. It all depends on the player's style and the chosen specialist. Is it worth it? Definitely yes.

На самом деле игра не плоха, видно, что её сильно подтянули со времён запуска, исправили много косяков, но так себе ядро вокруг которого вертятся все механики нельзя исправить (я говорю о системе специалистов). Хорошая, даже иногда весёлая игрушка, взять по скидке - самое то.

In my opinion, there are 3 things that make a game good, first is if it is fun or funny, which this is, there are several moments where I have laughed at moments in the game, second is gameplay, this game has much to unlock and use, it has much to enjoy and there's a playstyle for everyone, third is replay value, the game has much since it's online, but there's always replay value because you can experience the story any time you want, personally, I haven't yet figured it out, but that is my review, thank you for reading, and have the best possible day.

Pros: ✅ Beautiful graphics. ✅ Decent map selection (some maps are copied/pasted from previous Battlefield games). ✅ Portal is a very cool idea, but it's completely abandoned after the release of Battlefield 6. ✅ Very cool idea with weapons customization (you can customize your weapon during the battle). ✅ You will not have issues finding lobbies as of 2025. ✅ Achievements (some achievements are very grindy, so boosting is the best option and good luck with the extraction achievements). Cons: ❌ There is no campaign, so this game will only stay alive as long as the servers are running... ❌ Call of Duty like gameplay - you will run very fast and slide everywhere. ❌ Secure Boot required. ❌ EA Launcher.

Не знаю почему столько негативных отзывов , мне зашла. После BF1 и BF6 конечно не вау , но все же игра годная . Из плюсов - это обновленный арсенал оружия и даже возможность выбрать эпоху арсенала , а так же несколько новых игровых режимов , улучшенная графика и звуковое сопровождение . Добавили новых механик и обновленный приятный интерфейс . И самое главное это невероятная атмосфера . динамичные разрушения и стихийные бедствия по типу смерча .Единственное что мне не понравилось , это локации. В BF1 ты ощущаешь себя солдатом на фронте а тут ты как будто сражаешься за футбольный стадион или какойто склад . Ну а во всем остальном это та же BF1. В общем это реально годная игра , на 3-4 вечерка сойдет чисто по стрелятся кайфануть . Моя оценка 9/10
