You buy the game, install it, and play. No battle pass. No daily grind. No “earn 4,000 points to unlock the thing you actually wanted.” 😂 You grab a weapon, somebody startles a Witch, everything goes completely sideways, and five minutes later everybody’s laughing. The people become part of the game. After enough hours, you remember the ridiculous moments more than you remember the campaigns. Somebody accidentally shoots the gas cans. A Tank sends your buddy flying off a roof. Someone yells “RUN!” while doing the exact opposite. L4D2 was released in 2009 and is still bringing people together 17 years later. That’s a pretty remarkable accomplishment. I’m sure a lot of people would agree: It’s 2026, so make L4D3! I know I wouldn’t be the only person to buy it in a heartbeat.

One of the best games ever made, historical, generational, all hail gabe, we all know this now and in 100 years, we'll still know this BUT Hear me out though this is could be the future, generational, downright revolutionary. Instead of asking for L4D3, we ask for a remastered. we call it "left for dead: remastered". that way we can get left for dead 1 and 2 packaged into the same basket with modern graphics, maybe some new mechanics (if we're lucky, let's not get greedy, sit down helen) BUT they also add 5 new campaigns with 5 levels each (like each one of the original games) as like a.. tac-on kinda thing like what they did with "the suffering" or "the last stand". Picture it now baby, Im talking a modern L4D 1&2 AND L4D3 without technically getting L4D3. The community gets what they want, a new generations can experience our generation and more, and the best thing of all gabe doesnt have to count to 3. EVERYONE WINS, $60 bucks, out the door, tell the family, bing, bang, Done. Wanna take it further? Do it on their 25th anniversary of L4D2 and charge 80-100 for the "collector's edition" and the only thing different is the box art/digital cover, now that's what i'm talking about. Compassion, caring for the community, future generations and capitalism baby. Now If you're still reading this because you want a genuine review, look at what i'm doing right now in hopes to get a remaster with a tac-on 3rd thats not even a third game. like come on, at this point just spend the ten bucks or get outta here you're wasting our time, we're trying to make a trilogy sweetheart and you're worried about ten bucks man just buy the game man BUY THE GAME MAN!

This game is a masterpiece of multiplayer excellence. This game is the entire package of the series, you get the L4D1 campaigns remade in the L4D2 engine which has all of the new features, the campaigns in L4D2 is so great, so replayable and the director makes these replays unique and different. And this game can be played on pretty much any machine imaginable, due to the source engine being that optimized. This game is even fun Solo but can be difficult during difficult scenarios where the director is a pain in the ass. And will spawn two tanks, five witches and so many special infected that the A.I really can't do nothing. The graphics are insane as well, and shooting anywhere on a zombie's body will make it react, at times if you shoot a zombie in the stomach its insides come out. They even drag on the ground if they are running towards you, that attention to detail is insane for a older game. For ten dollars or 5 dollars this game goes on sale is a no brainer, you can play alone and have fun, you can play with your buddies super easily. You can even find one of the nicest communities out there, and you have so many mods to play around with. New campaigns, new weapons and new stuff to do. The world is your oyster just let loose and have fun, no one campaign is the same due to the director. Please, pay this masterpiece of a video game you cannot go wrong. This is still the best zombie horde shooter on the market.

I thought ENA: Dream BBQ was just going to be another weird indie game. I was wrong. The world makes absolutely no sense. The characters talk like they're from completely different realities. The environments look like someone put a dream, a fever dream, and an old computer together and somehow made it playable. And somehow, it works. At first, I was mostly laughing. Then I started getting uncomfortable. Then I started wondering what the hell was actually happening. And somehow, I was doing all three at once. What I love most about ENA is that it never feels like it's trying to explain itself to you. It just throws you into its world and expects you to keep up. One moment you're talking to a completely bizarre character about something that makes absolutely no sense. The next, you're walking through an environment that feels strangely beautiful despite looking like it shouldn't exist. And then something happens that makes you stop and think: "Wait... what?" The humor is ridiculous, the visuals are unforgettable, and the soundtrack somehow makes the entire thing feel even more like a dream. I've played games with clearer stories, better graphics, and much more conventional gameplay. I don't remember most of them. I'll remember ENA. I'll remember the strange characters. I'll remember the bizarre places. I'll remember constantly wondering whether I was supposed to understand what was happening. Some games tell you exactly what their world is. ENA throws you into its world and lets you figure out what it means to you. It's confusing. It's funny. It's beautiful. It's unsettling. And I have absolutely no idea what I just experienced. 100% recommended.

optimization surprised me since the graphics were amazing, but it still ran really well on my ♥♥♥♥ pc, gameplay is okay aswell, special infected make the game more varied which is nice to see too, all in all a great game, possibly greatest zombie game ever made.

The Left 4 Dead games have been my go-to favorites of all time ever since the Xbox 360 days, The more time that passes the more I really come to appreciate this franchise and just how one of a kind it truly is. I'm primarily going to be talking about L4D2, but a lot of these things can apply to L4D1 as well. There's so much attention to detail put into nearly every aspect of the game, and the graphics quality that really goes to show just how ahead of its time this game really was, especially with the voice acting and facial animations. What really makes the game shine is several key factors in my opinion. The storytelling element is unique in the sense that it doesn't outright tell you the story of Left 4 Dead unless you've watched the cinematic trailers for L4D1 and 2. Outside of that you only begin to learn about what really happened to our survivors and the state of the world through dialogue between the survivors and context clues throughout every chapter of each campaign, such as the environment and graffiti, primarily in the saferooms but also scattered throughout, usually on walls or inside abandoned homes or buildings. The special infected and the infected AI as a whole. Every campaign will always be different, even if you've racked up tens of thousands of hours on the game. Nothing is restricted either. No battle pass, no leveling system, or anything of the sort. You could buy the game right now and hop into the last campaign on the highest difficulty if you felt like it (though I don't recommend it) it's very easy to get into and quickly learn the gameplay mechanics. The real challenge is learning how to combat all of the infected, where to watch out for tank spawns, where weapons, supplies and health items can appear, and mastering the higher difficulties all the way up to expert and maybe even expert realism. The game is great for solo playthroughs or co-op with friends or complete strangers. And to top it all off, if the game does ever start to feel a bit stale or repetitive, it's fully compatible with the steam workshop so you can modify your game however you desire, or run the endless amount of custom campaigns made by the community. L4D2 also comes with all the original campaigns from L4D1, just updated to include the new weapons, throwables, uncommon infected, and special infected that didn't exist in the first game. I still recommend playing the original game for the experience as it has many of the pros that I've already mentioned previously, minus some things such as lacking workshop compatibility. TL;DR: Peak game, infinite replayability.

The real progression, is the memories you make with your friends :) I love zombie games, but as far as zombie games go, this is probably one of the worst ones (in my opinion). Not because it's technically doing anything wrong. I think that they did a great job with the game design and making it a fun experience. It's just not something that I want to ✨ lose myself in ✨ I need some type of personal progression. I want to be able to look back and visually see my progress, whether that's through my character stats, the weapons that I accumulate and change, or how I've physically changed the world. Left 4 Dead doesn't give me the same type of progression that I require in order to enjoy my games. But almost immediately, my friends were definitely making the game fun. The constant camaraderie of helping each other out, assisting one another, trying to navigate the linear world and doing it through the chaotic mess still feels good. The animations and the sounds all sounded great. The voice acting was fantastic. While I respect the game, and I did have a good time with my friends, this is probably the last time I'm ever going to touch it.
